Okay, I've got to make a change to my list. For my favorite PS2 sports game, I have to go with Hot Shots Golf 3. That game is so damn addictive (and fun).

3rd Person Shooter / Action: MGS2
Racing: Need For Speed: HP2
Sports: Hot Shots Golf 3
RPG: Argh....pretty tough, but FFVIII or Tales of Destiny
Fighting: Soul Calibur II (Yeah!!!)

I guess because a lot of people complained that the Splinter Cell for xbox was way to hard.It was extremely difficult I most say and I'm totally stuck in the game right now that i'm going to have to resort to buying a strategy guide.
