Silent Hill the movie was made 17 years ago...
Seriously. I just finally saw Jacob's Ladder. For those who dont know, the makers of the Silent Hill series were influenced heavily by this movie in not only cinematography and atmosphere, but also key plot themes and elements. Tim Robbins is a great actor, too.

Great great movie, but I've probably seen it like 17 years ago so I don't remember that much except that it was quite freaky...

pretty much common knowledge amongst SH fans. Jacob's ladder, Dante's inferno etc..Team Silent, was inspired by a ton of sources.
