Just a wondering thought that's been going through my mind. When creators and/or directors are translating or transferring manga over to anime tv (whatever that term is) how do they do it? Are they combining the 1st 2 chapters in a volume to make it 1 episode?

I think it really depends on the mangaka and also the animation studio's funds. If the mangaka requests that each episode be made individually to follow the manga chapters, then that might happen. But, since manga chapters tend to be a bit longer than anime, the mangaka understands this and tends to allow the combination of manga chapters into 1 anime episode to get the story going (since anime is different from manga). Also, if the studio's funds are lacking, they would have to combine/speed up or create filler episodes as not to lose more money and keep within their budget. I think this is the process, I could be wrong.

I see. Because I was thinking to myself about how long Naruto was, and how would they transfer it over to anime. Seeing as how I heard the anime has caught up with the manga. (I don't know if that's true.) So that's what had me wondering about the manga to anime thing.
