Angry Time

Time is infinite. Time is neither friend nor foe. Time is life. Time is death. Life and death are relative, and so is time.

Time is that one thing we never really think of, minus the times when we say, "I had a good time," or "I wish I had more time." Time is the one true thing we cannot buy; it will never be ours, yet it is more important than most, if not all, of our possessions.

There is an internal clock inside of us; it ticks everyday. And every day is one day closer to death. We do not know when our clock will stop ticking, but that is not really what matters, as that is something that we cannot control. What does matter is what we do during our given time.

What do you do with life's most precious unperceivable thing? Do you treasure it? Or do you waste it?

Isn't Time a scary thing?

I'm obsessed with time to the point where I'll always endevour to be stupidly early for things. It makes my wasting of it all the more pointless really. It is scary though, how quickly it goes and slips away before I've had a chance to do anything with it whatsoever.

Time is something I have a hard time noticing. Hours go by in what seems like seconds, days=hours, months=days, years=weeks. I try and do what I can when I can since I usually have no idea what time it is.

I always took it for granted, but after being kicked in the teeth by reality and the awarness that it can all be over in a second. I always tried to respect the time we are given here and try to live my life to the fullest. I don't always succeed in that but at least I tried. And about regret I always try to remember these next words: It's better to regret something you have done than something you haven't done.(whoever knows which classic band starts one of their cd's with that quote and can finish it gets 100 gils ).

PS I saw some physics guy on the dutch-tv the other day who tried to explain that before the big bang their was absolutely nothing because the big bang was the beginning of time itself...it really freaked me out...how can time begin? There must always be something before that? How can something start without something starting it? A reaction is just that something happening after a action right? Aaaargh!!!

You shouldnt regret things because it means your looking back and while it is important to learn from the past and tressure precious memories its also important to look forward, in my opinion. Iv made many mistakes and if you think of the things you have not done maybe you should look forward at how you can do these things. Doesnt make sense but oh well.

Thats something i have often thought about, it seems unprobable that there was once just nothing. Even if there was nothing surely time still existed even if it wasnt measured or experianced by anyone or thing.

For me time is important but i never really do much with my time, probably becasue of my lifestyle but i always wish i had more time to do things even though in all honesty i do have plenty of time its just i manage to waste it.

Very good thread though Happy_doughnut.
