One Piece And Naruto: similarities?

I was wondering, since I've heard there are many from some people who are fans of both series, what are the points in common between One Piece and Naruto. Nobody explained it in more explicit terms. I haven't watched much of either of them so I can't really say.

Anybody able to clear things up for me?

If it was only about naruto i could tell you easily..but ive never seen one piece, at least the serie.. i have 2 movies n i peeked a little but not much :|
