movie~opinion
This thread is for people who want to talk about a recent movie they seen, now I don't know if anyone has posted a thread like this in the past (probably) but, it would be good if you didn't give any spoilers or anything
. Just give your opinion about it. It can be one that is in the theaters or one that was but isn't anymore. This will help people to decide which they wanna see if they wanna see it. Well i'm sure you don't need an example or anything but here is one that I have recently seen and it has has been out for awhile though. It has just come out on HBO for the direct tv. It is called "Gothika", I wasn't sure if I had wanted to see it when it came out in the theater or not so I just waited and I thought it was a really good movie , I mean not the best I had ever seen but pretty close, it was kinda freaky in some parts but yet it kept you guessing till almost the end which is what I like. It is no fun when you guess the whole movie in the first half an hour anyway I liked it. well I hope to be able to read about some of the ones you have seen.

Yeah ive seen Team America and Ladder 49 in the past two weeks (Ladder 49 yesterday). Both are kick ass flicks, i thought Ladder 49 in particular was one of the better movies of the year. I saw Friday Night Lights, not bad, not great.

Van helsing - Beautiful sets, good simple entertainment nothing more nothing less.
Fahrenheit 9/11 - interesting flick, briliantly done got me doubts about certain parts but that aside. Duplex - very funny, cool plot, another excellent flick by Ben Stiller. Dawn of the dead - Cool remake, slow in some parts, never quite got the suspense up like the original but good fun nevertheless. Especially excellent opening sequence and song.

Saw layer cake at the cinema on saturday. Thought it was a really good film, lots of good cinematography and an intresting plot. Sometimes hard to follow but genrally you can get it, also the casting was quite good, hasnt gone for to many big name people. Such as the main character. I was expecting it to be like snatch and lock stock but it wasnt, that is by no means a bad thing tho. Best film i seen for a few montsh i reckon, either that or Collateral.

Sorry to go all retro on you, but I recently watched Aliens again... Man I love that movie! I have but one tiny recommendation: Anyone who likes Halo (yes, Halo, the X-Box/PC/Mac game) should watch Aliens. Halo owes a lot of what it doesn't already owe to Larry Niven to Aliens. Mind you, just judging by the people who've done my survey, a fair few of you have seen Aliens anyway ^^

I've just seen "Undercover Brother" I don't know how long that has been out but it was the
funniest movie I have seen in a long time, it reminded me a lot of Austin Powers, a great comedy to watch. This was my second time watching it though but even still it was pretty funny.
