there is some music for you, from my vanity project parasol star. its loose, but a hint of an idea all the same. feedback is welcome (and encouraged else I'd shy away as per usual).

I was torn between posting this in the songs thread in fanfic and creating a topic in general chat, but because there are no lyrics or similar I decided I'd go for the egotistical approach.

At first I was wondering were it was going, but then it errupted in the distortion and you can make out the melody through the mayhem and I kinda liked it...kinda like it a lot
Time to time I like that crazy noisy sound, like you created here. Just like I sometimes like to torture my ears with the completely insane sounds by the likes of Rank Sinatra, V/VM etc.etc.
Please keep posting more songs if you get the chance...

I can understand shyness, or laziness, but why fear? It's really good, I enjoyed listening to it, it's pretty different from the stuff you can usually listen from people who start playing and decide to have a band. At least it's different from the stuff of people I know who have a band... Is Parasol Star the name of your band? It's a beautiful name!

Thats amazing, nothing to be shy about. Thought it sound really good, you could actually make that into a full blown song. The melody is brilliant, i hope to hear some more.

Why fear ? There is always fear, a shy kind of timid fear that builds. Fear of rejection perhaps ? I'm not sure.

Parasol Star is the name I use for music. It was a band a year or so ago but now its just me. It may well be expanded back out to a band for live performances or recording in the future but I'm really not too sure whats happening right now. The name comes from an early nineties video game which is most definitely worth checking out. Great platformer.

You know what? I can't listen to it, I'm still without speakers! *sighs* Hope to solve the problem soon, so that I can hear your newest works that I will surely appreciate and like a lot. For now, I'm happy you're still into music, and yes, the name Parasol Star rocks
