On the Edge of Consciousness
Been a while since I put a poem up on here... give me some words...
I stand, with hope in my one hand and my dreams in the other the sands of time race to vanquish me under its cover, and so I contemplate whether to jump into the wind with the prayer the commandments of gravity may newly bend for me, the moon sends its beams through seams and cracks to lend for me its light, and reflect the matter within my palms tonight I must scatter the shards to make the balled fists necessary to brawl and to fight back I stand, back with my back, to the wall, I might not stand for so long a grand or two-thousand strong and I can’t out run it because the, infinite vastness of chronologic crassness will sweep you up in its grips with illogical fastness I ask this, I beg and I plead for my sanity but the price I paid for it was more than all the madness- I left my haven swinging, victory is impossible like a raven singing, my valediction is probable in fact, it’s all likely, but I’ll be damned if I fall without reclaiming my hopes and dreams at all, I said I’ll be damned if I’m gonna fall without reclaiming my hopes and my dreams...

This one is powerful. There's a sort of struggle made of oppositions and descriptions of natural elements. Seems decision and strenght of will win, which means there's a lot of hope in it.
I like it, it's very good |

This is a very good poem. I can relate a lot with the feeling you're expressing. I don't know if this is about you or about some fictional character, but really it has a lot in common with my present feelings.
