Which sense could you live without?

Touch, smell, taste, sight or hearing? I could do without taste. If you were to pick "smell" then that would automatically cancel out taste anyway. All the other senses are too precious to me, but I could sacrifice taste - maybe I wouldn't eat too much then.

Yeah, I would take away taste also. That way if I was stranded on an island I wouldnt hesistate to eat a bug.

Probably touch. I'm not speaking of losing limbs etc... but being unable to say if a material is smooth/rough, hot/cold and so on isn't that bad... especially compared to other senses. I'd change idea losing sight, in that case touch is 100% necessary, together with hearing, but we're talking about only one sense. As you said, losing smell would probably result in a defective taste too, so I wouldn't choose any out of these two

Losing your smell is only like having a cold/flu

So its not that bad, but some poor people have to live without the sences.

I would say none because, its something precious that we all have. So I don't want to loose and of those senses.

Well, I wouldn't like to lose any of them; I'd go totally nuts if I lost especially my sight... but I think I'd lose my capability to taste. I like touching things, hearing people and birds, smelling exotic smells...

What if you eat poison which you could have tasted if you had that sense otherwise?

But that's probably it... I don't know how would I make it without any of the other senses.

I'd go without hearing so that I wouldn't have to listen to stupid people, and I could be like one of those senile old men, so whenever you talk to me I just yell, "WHAT!??!"

Probably touch, then I wouldn't be able to feel the scratch I get from those annoying bug bites I usually get during the summer or worry about touching something that's too hot or too cold.

I need to taste so losing that or smell is not something I'd wanna be without cause I looove salt. Also, since music and video games are 2 things I really enjoy I'd be in hell without being able to see or hear.
