Personnally I would only use it with my friends who are online! But go for it sony. This is a amazing peice of technology.

i agree with u,its bound 2 catch on.its reasonably priced too.i seen a feature in a friends mag also and thought it definatley looks promising.my friend was like an excited little puppy when he seen it

Yeah like said everywhere, people love watching themselves on TV and this EyeToy is going to do the same thing. People are ANY age......and those who are not intrested in Video Games will get attracted to it. This thing is amazing. I did hear about this back in 2000. Its a good thing that more news is coming on it now. Hopefully, this is let us Scan our face, so we can paste it on the main character. Would be funny, but hey funny is good..... its FUN.

In a word YES. If this thing is as good as they say it is, then it wont be long before Gates improves upon it and realeases it for the Box.

This thing and the game that was using at e3 was so ridiculously stupid at e3 that I am praying to never see anything like this for the XBox. It practically has GIMMICK written all over it with with ugly neon pick marker.

Well, yeah ofcourse you will say that now......I mean its just the beginning for things like these. This Eye Toy, in the future would get better and better and would be the next level of gaming. Thats what I think.........just give it sometime. A new equipment takes time.

I do belive the Eye Toy won an award at E3, so I dont know how it can be that stupid. I think for best puzzle games they listed anything using the Eye Toy or something. Id guess it cant be THAT bad then, but I dont know, havent really done any research on it.

Here was the only planned and playable game involving this at e3. Bugs flew at your head and you had to slap them before they bumped into you. I see how this thing might have a niche as a party game accessory... but that is about all. The only other thing I could possibly think it to be useful for is live video feed during online play, but even with broadband the video would suck.

Its been out about a week now, and its one off the biggest laughs you can have on your ps2, some of the games on it, putting yourself on the screen in the game is GREAT! Any one else got it?
