Yup I finally picked up Metallica's new album St.Anger. Now the first thing I found out was the new album freakin rocks. Its heavy and freakin raw. Metallica has never sounded better. On a side note if your expecting the same old metallica sound that was present on the last couple albums you'll be in for a surprise. Metallica has reinvented thereselves and now are a mix of the old Metallica and a entirely new sound. This is probably one the best albums I've heard from them ever. Also as another gift from the boys, they packaged the Cd with a DVD of them playing all there songs present on the cd live.

Only heard two songs so far, cool that they play more faster stuff like back in the old days....but please tell me they haven't put friggin' nu-metal influences in their music
Not them also.....some bands should stay away from that... But hey I only heard two songs so far so maybe I'm wrong...

The single that I heard on TV wasn't that nice. I dont know.......and I heard the album today as my friend at work brought his CD. I still think Metallica Metallica was the best album. I dont think I'll get this.

Thats one of the points of discussion that were at another forum I visit. People don't really like the idea of change so they most of them hate the new album. I for one love the change. Its such a new sound. Its like something I have never heard before. I think in time some people will change there opinions the stuff really grows on you.
