Hmm that's a tough one. Bruce Willis in did hard with a vengence? I think not maybe if it was the first die hard. So what is your question whos' a better actor or character you have 2 of the actors listed but you just left aragorn as aragorn. If you mean characters I would have to say Neo from the matrix. I'm a hardcore LOTR fan(except the movies ), but if we were talking about Aragorn in the actual book I would say him but I'm pretty sure you talking about those awfule movies. This Fellowship was alright, but from then on it's looks like Peter Jackson said the hell with the books I'm writing my own story here.

Awww come on. It's not like the LOTR movies are that bad. They are better then the animated movies. Plus, some people have been waiting for a movie for over 40 years. The thing about the movies is that they do have to cut some stuff out...but when they add things it just makes me mad (The love scenes and taking Frodo to Osgiliath) but still they are pretty damn good.

But still Aragorn is great hero....much better then Bruce Willis. He still lacks the coolness of Neo...and the special powers. Now Gandalf....I think Gandalf kicks serious ass.

I disagree I think the movies are pretty bad except for the special effects, heck it they're good it must be a good movie right? I mean even Tolkiens son always points out how his father wanted everything a certain way and thus was skeptical about publishing other material related to middle earth. So what gives peter jackson the right to mess with the story? Like i said the fellowship wasn't bad but he really dropped the ball with the second movie, I didn't even go see it because of how badly it messed up the story

I'm sorry.. althrough he played a great charecter in the matrix.. Is till feel that he is one of the worst actors, and I can't stress it enough. I do love the movie but I honestly hate Reves.

They gave him permission.....

But still.... Before even filming Peter Jackson said he was doing it from his own understanding.

If you are juding the movie on accuracy then it gets a C-... 2 and a half stars..... But as far as the movies go they are great IMO.

I'm am upset at the movies too. I mean how could they take Tom Bombadil out? Or how could they mess the Helms Deep scene up. I mean Eomer was already at the battle. And this Lurtz character...WHERE THE HELL DID HE COME FROM?

But still. I just want to know how you can judge a film you said you have never seen.

Keanu Reeves (NEO) I think is the coolest out of the choices, and Vic, Neo would kick arny's Fg ass! I like him and all, but it just a fact.

It seems you are talking about the LOTR movie character Aragorn played by Viggo Mortenson.

Anywayz...Either way I think Aragorn gets my vote as coolest character out of those 3 and Mortenson does an incredible job of playing his part in the movie adaptation IMO.

Another comment I wanted to make was in defense of Keanu Reeves' acting ability. I thought he did a more than exceptional job in both matrix movies (especially this one) and I found him really convincing as THe One. I watch a lot of movies, too, so don't try to assume I don't know what I'm talking about. He also did a wonderful job in Devil's Advocate. Of course, Al Pacino stole that show, but come on...he's Al f**king Pacino! Woohoo!

Hey 500th post...I'm proud.

I agree with Azuma_Ninja 100%. The movies (LOTR) are good if you have never read the books. If you do like the movies take the time to read the books it is worth it and you will enjoy the series a lot more. Back to the topic at hand. Neo as a charater is the best out of them all, I mean who would'nt want that part or just have the ability's that he has. However as the actor i would say Bruce Willis. He is the superior actor and has more mentionable roles than both the other guys put together like The Fifth Element, 12 Monkeys, and The Jakal need I say more. But Reeves does have Bill and Teds series........maybe I should have not said that.

Acctually Agent Smith (Hugo Weaving) is a damn cool character out of the matrix triolgy, but then again Bruce Lee would kick all their small asses!

which is "cooler" ... i don't know. Neo is supposed to be "cool". Bruce Willis is supposed to be "tough" and cool probably wasn't around in middle earth ... I'm pretty indifferent to Bruce in the Die Hard films (different story for the Fifth Element though... I love that film ) so I guess its Neo. Though he is a bit shallow...

... this is keanu we're talking about after all

I don't know why, but I'd say my collest character of all time would probably be Ripley (Sigourney Weaver) in Aliens. She kicks some ass and has a bitch-fight with an Alien Queen at the end. oh and shes still human at the end of the day... just a damned lucky "everyone else gets killed except me" human.

That seems pretty cool to me
