summer holiday
I know it's a bit early but since my boss came around to get to know my summer holiday plans. And you've got to book early for a holiday nowadays...I was wondering if any on you guys know what you're summer holiday plans are allready( if there are any that is ).
I still can decide between the dominican republic and New York....but I think it's gonna be NYC once again. P.S. ignore this topic if you think it's to early but the sun is starting to shine around here and I can't help myself I'm desperately longing(???) for the summer holiday

Oh yeah, I know what I am doing. And hey, it's never to early to think about it.
I plan on going to Boston to catch a Red Sox game and then head over to NYC to see a Yankees game and then head over to DC and check out the sites. I'll proably go somewhere else too but that particular trip I have been waiting to go on for the last 3 years.

That sounds like something worth waiting a long time for, so a big baseball-fanatic cool! I would love to see a Yankees game, when I was there last year they were in the play-offs(I think) for the world series so there wasn't a change on earth I could get a ticket...people were sleeping in lines to get a ticket and doing that in the Bronx is not my cup o' tea!

WEll last year I went to California with the girlfriend I had at the time cuz she was from there originally before movin out here for college. So we spent a month and a half near L.A. and we also traveled all over the place. Beaches, beautiful winding roads through the country fun as hell to drive on, Santa Monica, San Francisco, SAn Diego, just beautiful beautiful places that seemed surreal to me cuz I had only been able to imagine California before. Wherever I go, I enjoy the diversity of people the most and te melting pot of cultures...It's beautiful when we can get it to work Work together people!
Anywayz...It took me a while to realize that even though I'm not still with that girl...I can top myself this year. I was thinking Australia...especially cuz I know somebody who's from there and I can only imagine how beautiful a place it is and how much fun I'll have with them there. Why stop there, though? How about goin wiht my best friend to Atlanta? He's always telling "back in the day" stories of whent he grew up there and it sounds like a fascinating place. And who knows maybe I'll travel to my Dad's home country of Colombia...visit where he grew up and all the beautiful cities, mountains, rural areas, and dance the night away with the beautiful latin women there Ok I have babbled enough...PEACE and here is to the near future!!! _RED_ stuff

I must also not forget to spiritually ground myself and experience what is right in front of me... all the beauty and wonders of the night I have always taken wonderful mind and spirit trips through and to further explore the day that I had for so long lost track of until more recently. I love living in this house surrounded by the woods. The air is so fresh! Now if only I can get out of bed when I'm not working and start exploring my talents again.....oooookkkk....I am making no sense say the other members of the forums who are probably asking me to pleeeease refrain from double posting and wasting all this space with random wordage that is possibly less meaningful than I wished. Take heed my warning, friends! Closing oneself to others can be more dangerous than opening oneself and solace help me take my own advice as I once did or will in the future or have I ever done as I intended to do as I did not once, but more or less times? The paradox that is I. And I rebell. OK I know I make no sense. Wait...so how does all this relate to the thread? Well I want people to know that even if they can't travel far this summer...to seek the beauty in front of them and experence what is there in front of them. Uhhh...ok I'm tired and I can't believe I just made this entire post. Feel tree to continue with this thread now.

Yo red, that's one hell of a nice post. I can totally dig the part of the everyday beauty surrounding us, carpe diem my friend.
Be grateful for what we've got and never take things for granted, Life is the most precious gift of all... And for tha australia part do it man, if you get the chance a lot of my friends have gone( and I mean a LOT). And what they tell is unbelievable, maybe try going there for a little longer and travel around.

Hopefully I'm going to stay in a castle in scotland:The Highlands this year with my family! I've always wanted to go to either Scotland or Ireland but we chose Scotland, maybe we'll go Ireland Next year. So yeh I'm really looking forward to it as I'm a big Nature fan and can't wait to see all the different nature thats out there! Birds especially! Well I gotta go lend my boss a tenner now! Bye! I usually go to the States with my Family ( Honestly, I cant remember how many times ive been to the US ) But I'm sick of it, always the same...
I want to go, If I go anywhere, to Amsterdam with some friends, or Maybe Ibiza, because the best holidays are ones when you get piss drunk with a bunch of mates. |

I don't see why you guys call vacations holidays, but please don't hurt me. Anyway, like I said before I'll probably just have a job this summer, it would be my first summer with a job.
