some people...
... just have no holiday spirit. And on top of that, they ruin others'
I've been doing lots of community service for school as of late. Today, I had to "work" at this stand where another girl and I were wrapping presents for free [wow, 2 people ] I know it's not a lot, but it does help local people since stores that wrap presents can either be overly retarded and charge more than necessary. Also... sometimes people don't have time to wrap them themselves... I dunno, the thing was that that's what we were doing. So, I had to be there from 6am to 6pm AND we only had 1 hour for lunch. How terrible is that ! However, there were some people whom were really nice, surprisingly, and they made you feel kind of "good" for doing something for the community. BUT there were some that were just total... Could they not see we were only 2 people ?! But noooo.... they were SPECIAL. Bitching and complaining... god. Ugh... but, there was this lady... who completely started to tell me all sorts of crap. She said I had probably done something hideous and that was why I was doing the service. She then went onto complain how terrible of a job I was doing, how she wanted a white ribbon, not blue [dammit... we only have so much to work with !] AND she had like 20 freaking presents. She was being horrib, just horrid. I was so tired, working so hard to try and please everyone, working for 0$ and hour for 11 hours, and then she comes bitching saying that I'm some type of no good convict ?! I mean, wtf, man ! And after I politely asked her to leave, she makes and even BIGGER scene, yelling and putting on these tantrums, calling me a this and a that when I had done nothing to make her mad... *sigh* I have a nice tolerance level... but some people just can't be dealt with. Why do some people have to ruin others' days ? |

Holiday Spirit
I dunno... Theres just some people that love Christmas and others that Hate it. But I got to give you props. I could never wrap gifts for that long, plus Im not a good wrapper. My tolerance level is sort of low. I would have gone off on that lady. I would have been like "Excuse me chica I dont see you behind this counter with your lazy ass wrapping gifts." But thats just me.

i agree you should've thrown that attitude right back in her face . That's twisted..and during the holidays too.
I would've told her that she gets no ribbon for complaining.

U should've told her that if she wanted it done better that she should go somewhere else and pay for her wrapping or do it herself.

What a motherfoxx0ring wench. I really don't know if I would have tolerated it. Specially if she came to tell me stuff and speculate shit she did not know.
I really don't know how would I react. I'm sure I'd try to be polite at first, but certainly I would explode and send her to hell if she kept on. I'm not puttting with a stupid lady's crap, specially when I'm giving her a service for free. People like that is just ignorant.

I feel for you Zero, ...... thats so bad of her to act in that manner. You could have asked HER to pay, and did you wrap her presents?......Cause if you did, you should have wrapped it in the worse manner or something. Blah.
And poor baby, working for $0...how can you??....Thats so sweet...but common, you could have asked for alteast a buck from everyone. But I hope you get her back well in the future. Eye for an Eye!.. I remember, this lady, asked me to look up for a DVD, a VHS and an Audio CD, and I gave her the CD she was looking for, and checked the computer and went BACK to the inventory to check for the DVD and the VHS that wasn't on the shelf. But couldn't find her, but still I tried my best, and she left by saying "Thanks for NOT HELPING ME, this is the last time I am EVER coming to you, or YOUR BEST BUY". Aight take care, Block Buster is just near by, enjoy your day there! Beyaatch!

Wow, you are pretty good there. Work is a pain in the ass for me since i work in retail. I put up with snotty customers and such and it almost makes me want to jump over the counter and beat them senseless.
Its always good to be selfless. I couldn't do that for 11 hours with no pay. Oh well, tomorrow, it'll be all over and we can all get on with our lives.

I only read the first post... Sometimes you just can't figure people out. No matter what you do, they are going to explode, because that's all they really can do. They get pleasure out of it. Especially if they see that they made you mad or something. They don't expect you to say or usually do anything and when they don't that's when you do because they get so embarrassed. *evil glare* Gwah hahahhaha
