Red face Perfumes

This can sound as a girly thing to post, and so vain, but guys are welcome to share their opinions and tastes as well!

I'm curious to know, since lately it happened to me for some reason to visit lots of perfumeries, what are your favourite perfumes and scents, and why.

I'm not an expert, in fact I'm not usually buying brand perfumes, but I've been liking stuff that smell of vanilla for a long time, and everything with the green tea label on it. I also like the renowned Armani perfume called Acqua di Giò, that is old, but it's supposed to be a sort of "classic". Lately I'm very fond of Flower Oriental by Kenzo because it smells of incense, and I'm an incense addict. Flower is ok, maybe just a bit too "dusty" for my taste, but the Oriental edition is sublime.

I don't know the name of her perfume, but my fiancé wears a very nice vanilla perfume.

I have never been taken by the usual flowery scents. Vanilla has been a favorite of mine. An ex-girlfriend of mine always wore flower scents, mostly lavender, but it was horrible.

My favorite scents are : Emporio Armani white, JP Gaultier Le male, Dior higher and Issey Miyake L'eau d'Issey.

The ones I like best for my girlfriend: Dior pure poison, L'eau d'Issey, Haute Couture by Givenchy and Dior J'adore Dior

I got a thing for smelling nice, I got quit a collection for a man(mainly cause I get a lot from my girlfriend).

This thread struck me as quite uncanny because my sister and I have been on a perfume quest recently ourselves.

Ah, I used to adore this scent a long time ago too but I slowly grew out of it. They no longer carry it here so I guess it's a good thing I don't like it as much anymore.

I'm very sensitive to fragrances because I sneeze whenever I smell very strong scents or ones I'm not adapted to. I also cannot stand super sweet, fruity, or baby-powder scents...they drive me nuts. The only scent that I love that I bought a long time ago is Hanae Mori "Haute Couture" but they no longer carry it in stores. I still have that same bottle with only a little remaining. One that I can somewhat stand is Vivienne Westwood "Boudoir"; and another scent that I love but is not a fragrance is a shower-gel by Korres called "Cedar." It's very earthy and masculine but I like it.

I desire to find a fragrance that can imitate the coolness of winter...that crisp, cold feeling of fresh, clean air. I guess I prefer weather and nature scents, hehe.

Hey, I love Perfumes or Colognes.

My fav...

1.) Aqua Di Gio Giorgio Armani

and

2.) Lalique Cologne

I just smile out of now where when I smell Aqua Di Gio. In love with that stuff.. and the ladies love it too.

But about Lalique, its just amazing, I have been asked by random hot girls in shopping mall, or at work....about what I am wearing, and I get excited as "it" has done its job and has attracted a hot female species only to find out that they will be going to buy it for their BOYFRIEND right away...

Oh well. ...
