I, as sad as this may be, cannot say all that much regarding these election times. Truthfully, I don't care much for politics, and it isn't because I don't have the desire to be informed, but because the information one may posses seems useless at times. Politics just seem to be a game whose victor will be determined by he who can lie the best.

But as far as these elections go, I will say that I am not a big fan of Kerry. For one, I don't like how he hops from issue to issue... just kind of going wherever the wind is blowing. However, aside from that, I think that one of his major problems is his lack of zest. Just look at this speeches - they're all so very bland. Edwards, on the other hand, is much more lively. And Bush... well, he's funny. Who else has played the red harring card in these elections more than he?

But I think that... well, does it really matter what party is in office? I guess you can say I swing more to the left side than to the right, but I realize that it's not so much about the party, but about the well being of America.
Personally, I thought Clinton was a great president; he was Democratic. I thought Regan was a great president; he was Republican.

It seems to me that a lot of people are saying, "Vote Bush: he's Republican!" or "Vote Kerry: he's Democratic!" After all, what do parties really mean? I think that the nation should always elect the president based on who they believe, because it really is all a matter of belief, will be a better president based on he himself, and not on the party classification placed next to his surname.

Given this, do people really think Bush has done a great job? How about a good job? I mean... I just don't understand. People say that Bush infiltrated, because no matter how much you try to sugar coat it, that's what he did, Iraq because Saddam was a "ruthless and dangerous dictator." Yes - ruthless he indeed was, but dangerous? How so? Because of weapons of mass destruction? Well, then, that surely constitutes a dangerous figure, but where are they? Destroyed? But how? Wasn't someone supposed to be watching this? I mean... where are they? And hey, what happened to that looney N. Korean guy? I mean, he's communist, is he not? And he does have dangerous weapons, doesn he not? Why didn't Bush go over there? Oh? Because he did nothing to the U$? But, what did Saddam do?

What about Cuba? Vietnam? Laos? Uh, China? What about them? What differentiates these communist regimes with Saddam's?

Where's Osama? Why does he mock this nation by sending recordings of himself? Why was he let go? Why?

One of the most shocking moments for me was when Bush was informed about the first attack on the Twin Towers; he just sat there! Yes, I understand that there wasn't much to do, but you see, I don't think a person can really be classified as a leader if he will have no idea how to act and will just sit there helpless in a real time of need. And if you ask me, that was a real tome of need. I just can't trust someone that, when faced with the very face of danger, will sit there and do nothing. I just can't.

As I said before, I think that instead of voting for a "party," people need to vote for the "person": a person that will be able to take this country by the reigns, make it ascend, protect its people and look to solve homeland affairs before he looks to fix the world. I mean, there's this old saying... how can you try to fix someone else when you can't even fix yourself?

I truly think this country has taken a deep plunge into not only economical terror, but into core of terror itself.

So I say: Vote for he who you think will do this country good, not for a political badge. Vote for he who will help America, not destroy it. And, in my opinion, regardless of party alliance, I do not think Bush has done well as a leader - I don't think he has even done well as a person.

He is a disgrace to those that share the Christian faith.

It's hard to vote for a person and not the party, because a persons values are influenced by the party they represent.
