mog Have you bought a game lately?

Just this past weekend I bought 2 dance dance revolution pads (which i had to return because my downstairs neighbor got mad), a second controller, a memory card, Mortal Kombat: Deadly Alliance, GTA: Vice City, Unlimited Saga, Gran Turismo 3, and Tomb Raider.

What have you guys bought lately?

okay... i'm wondering if it was burnout 2 that i played.... if someone can tell me if burnout 2 was for PS2 then i could tell you if it was burnout 2 or burnout 3 but regardless the one i played was stupid. i didn't like it at all. okay you get to play for about 2 seconds untill you hit something and then you get to watch movies for 5 minutes untill everything stops crashing into everything else, then you get to play for 2 more seconds and repeat untill you get bored (which was very quickly for me). anyways... does Halo 2 support online play, and if so anyone know if it will be free? I personally, on the subject of waiting for games, am waiting to buy Gran Turismo 4... I can't wait to get it!

I recieved Doom 3 for my Birthday.... and I got Threads of Fate over EBay in August. Haven't spent much on games really... I preordered Half-Life 2 for my 17th Birthday (my mum always ask me, "is your last year's Birthday present here yet". One day HL2 may get released. At least I didn't preorder Duke Nukem Forever! ^^). The next game I probably buy will be MGS3, Far Cry or perhaps KillZone (if it's worth my money of course). I'll get Halo 2 if and when they make a PC version (looking bleak at the moment). Still... There's always emulation!

I just bought MK-deadly alliance, one of the most dissapointing games I ever played Conquest mode is an insult it's just one big training mode, how repetive can it get??? Maybe a bit fun in two player vs mode but single player is truely a let down. I'll stick to Evo/SCll instead.
I'm gonna buy TH underground 2 soon, can't go wrong with that!

Star Wars Galaxies + The Sims 2 for PC (don't know how much time I'll have for these two!)
Astroboy Omega Factor + Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past for GBA (I like retro games!)

These are the games I bought lately (meaning during the last couple of weeks).

Burnout2 had a lot of these vids.. and it was a multiplatform release.. the newest one that i got is IMO a lot better.. i always enjoyed the burnout series.. but this time when you crash and shit... theres this thing called aftertouch takedowns.. you can controll where your crash goes and try and take out the guys behind you and such... its quite a blast.. but if you are skeptical.. give it a rent at least first ....
And Halo2 is going to support online play... as far as i know.. there is no "pay to play"---but as it is on xbox the usual xbox live fee will apply... but other than that.. smooth sailing ... i cant wait to play that game ... yeah i know i'm repetitive.. just imagine living by me when all i do is play halo and talk about the new one... i even got some of the action figures at my desk at work.. and whilst dialing the phone.. i play out some scenes

YES! Those Halo figures are awesome, I saw some the other month at EB Games. The paint jobs on them are superb, but not as detailed as McFarlane figures. I love all the spawn figures. I don't particularly like spawn, and in fact I don't really like spawn... it's pretty lame, and i hate that fat guy, but the figures like hell spawn where it's supposedly the spawn as he is in hell or something is freaking awesome. It's like spawn as a beast, and it's soooooo detailed, but that's what you can expect from McFarlane! Anyways, back on topic, I believe I will also buy Halo 2 when it comes out.

yea, Burnout 2 is ps2, the newest is xbox burnout 3..........3 is wicked, but I guess if you break it down liek that it sound spretty boring. But like Trunks said, the aftertouch and just the speed of the thing is worth the mayhem.....its the only game that rewards you for crashing, but if you like pure racing games GT4 is gonna be bananas

Halo 2 = only XBL payage, just like all the XBL games. You only pay for your 3month, 6month, or yearly
I already had it reserved since july and I'm waiting a few more weeks for.....tee hee.....grand theft auto......tee hee

but I've bought espn nfl2k5 for my ps2, a few online games for xbox and Fable

its obvious what the next thing I'm gonna buy between now and the end of november yup yup

I've bought Dawn of War, Rome: Total War and Final Fantasy XI for the pc recently. And I bought my Girlfriend Animal Crossing a few weeks ago, before stuff went downhill...

Most recent purchase was a HL2 preorder over steam. Before that I got GT3 and MGS2 for 7 bucks each, it was a sale at some store. I snatched the last copies too.

I really went crazy with spending since I usually only get a new game like once every 3 or 4 months.

My purchase for the past few months have only been "Katamari Damacy", "Hot Shots Golf Fore!" and "THUG 2." That's it...I just gotta save up for GTA: SA now.

The last game I bought was Silent Hill 3 if memory serves. Oh yeah, and Ring of Red for a few bucks used . . . it was pretty repetive.

I'm going to buy Grand Theft Auto : San Andreas and Metal Gear Solid 3 when they come out I think. That is, if I can afford to get both. Being an university student, I have to make difficult choices like eating or playing good games.

I think if it comes down I'll only be getting MGS3. I couldn't stand not playing that. I may spontaneously combust. That or just be quietly disappointed.

Probably spontaneously combust.

The latest purchases are LSL:MCL, Dead or Alive: Ultimate, Grand Theft Auto San Andreas and Halo 2 : LCE I've only recieved one so far..GTA: SA is paid for except for tax. Halo 2 has about 30$ left on it, and DOA:U about 15 $ left on it.

I still got about 15 dollars left to pay on it when i pick it up with San Andreas..it does look great though. I'll just be happy to finally play it, the delays have really gotten out of hand.. i almost certain the 10/26 date is solid though. IGN has already recieved their review build, so that's a positive sign.
