E-Bay eh? Well here is what i got out of it. That as a seller you put up an item you need to sell that item and that the buyer has the right to that item after the transaction is complete, they word it to cover everything from item to assest to property. And that you are taking responsibility for what your selling thats the simple version of what i got out of it.

This is simple Business Law. They just like using big words to confuse people. Funny, this is the kind of thing that I am getting my degree in.

Hyuuga got it right. According to my Business Law teacher, this is just a written contract stating that the Buyer has full right to claim the item up for sale in the condition that it should be in. If it isn't what it is supposed to be, then the buyer gets the ability to claim what it is, meaning you must provide the item or enough cash or other items to get the item.

Simply, if you sell something, say exactly what it is that you are selling. Nothing more. And make sure what you are selling is real.

Thanks so much you guys. Geez, the clause sounds so simple in the end. *feels stupid* This situation isn't Ebay (though I understand how it can sound like it, lol) but it involves the restaurant my family owns and we're selling it due to some complications and personal stuff.

Thanks again, you guys were a great help!
