Well i will never name my kids Joaquim or Justino and if i have a girl i will never name her Maria....theese are all portuguese names but like i am portuguese and probably my kids will have portuguese names at least theese ones i'm never gonna put them...

GodGiven.. That is actually this little girls name who went to school with one of the kids I use to look after..
One time the girl I looked after came home and said to me " Godgiven! more like devilgiven, she is so naughty!"

I saw this on Jay Leno the other night. It was an asian name so I'm sure the parents had no idea what it would sound like in english, but there was this woman who had made an advertisement for her practice: Dr. Waki Ho, M.D.

my dad was joking around with my mom when i was born, and he said a name from a book for me. Zaphod Beeblebrox. I think that is probably up there for the worst name.... i have heard some funny ones like a priest named cardinal sin, a woman named fanny may, who married this guy with the last name whack, so she was fanny whack, then the guy died, so she married his brother, but kept her old husband's name as well, so she ended up being Ms. fanny whack whack...... or this guy i knew, he was chinese, and his name was fah qyu (think about it...)

you know the parents have a sick sense of humour when they call their child "Richard" if their last surname is "Head". My sister actually had a teacher by that name once... poor Dick...

Then you've got the whole simpsons joke set... you know, like "Hugh Jass", "Seymour Butts", "Homer Sexual", "B.O. Problem"...

Taboo names can be fun: Not too many kids called "Judas"...

Oh and just for fun, change the first letters of a persons' first name with the first of their surname - among those I personally know:
Benny Jurke
Lam Sucky
Wam Shite (

)
Ken Bostick
Prik Eronk (not that "Erik Pronk" is a normal everyday name in the first place)

oh and also In the real world, I've heard of one woman who called her child "Laa Laa" (after the Teletubby), and A games company offered high ammounts of money to anyone who would change the name of their child to "Turok".

And then there's the guy who called himself "Mr Playstation"....

My sister actually went to school with someone called Kameljit (pronounced CamelJit) and often mispronounced Camelshit of course!

I have a baby names book here so I will list some horrible or silly names..

Beauregard- too many vowels! Imagine a kid trying to write this down.

There's actually somebody in this world willing to name his child "Sony". I've read it in a magazine months ago and I was horrified.... This name was among other horrible ones I can't remember now.
