How's everybody doing lately?
I have been very abscent from this community lately, a lot has been happening in this transitional stage in my life and time has been going like friggen lightning. Mainly because my unit has been preparing to deploy to Afghanistan this month, where we'll enjoy the most realistic fireworks and sound effects known to man
I believe I will still have access to the internet and to this site, but if I don't, hopefully at least I'll have access to myspace where you can find out about my adventures in disneyland. I'm flying this friday, hopefully it won't be long until I report back to you guys. Love, Frozen.

Hi Frozen,
Hope you'll return save and well from Afghanistan, is this your first time to the middle east? You seem to be taking it lightly, is this because you've always wanted it or a bit of sarcasm because you've been there before?

Hi all,
Well, surprisingly I have access to this site, so I should be able to post somewhat frequently. Honestly it hasn't been as bad as I thought it would be, I definitely have had my taste of those spectacular fireworks and sound effects but thankfully no one has gotten hurt. We have very good defense measurements here. To answer some of your questions, yes, this is my first time in a combat zone, and although I have never taken this lightly, there is no denying that I have always looked forward to this challenge. And I like to be as positive as possible about any situation no matter how bad it could be. Also, I might be here for more than a year. But that's fine, I'll be making some good extra cash and more time to pump iron at the gym Thanks to all of you for the words of encouragement, you guys are part of my extended family. Best, Frozen.

Take it easy out there man. You finally get your chance but still, be safe. Good luck.

We're happy to know you're being so positive about this new challenge. It's always better to be positive about anything in life, no? Let's not forget that in every single task there are adversities to face, so that even going to the supermarket can be difficult. Actually, I think these days going shopping requires much more cold blood than killing a Behemot, but that's another story...

Sorry I haven't posted in a while, right now I'm locked in my office because we're under attack, lmao. I know it's not funny but the last two times it's gotten me in some compromising situations- last time we got mortared and rocketed I was sitting at the throne and it was hilarious to listen to the complaints of my fellow "crappers", and this time around I was taking a leak. And since it's midnight, (we have blackouts, no lights at night) running back to the office for shelter I hit myself pretty good on the shin (yeah, it hurts) Anyway, I remembered that I hadn't checked in in more than a month, it's actually been rough, we already lost 2 paratroopers, it was a very tough hit but it's war and life goes on. Other than that I shouldn't complain, although I'm not sleeping much due to extended working hours and going to college online, I actually just finished one of my exams and was getting ready to go back to bed. Now I don't know how much longer till I get to go back to my room.
