Hi from someone else's computer...

Well, at the moment I'm using my dad's computer because mine needs to be repaired and I don't know how long that will take so I just thought I'd let you all know I might not be able to post as often as before for a short while and also a bunch of stuff I'm currently working on that I've been writing for things is currently innaccessible because of all this so...well...grrrrrrr...

My life is upside down. All my recorded music and stuff was on there, too and I can't work on that either and I hope all my stuff is not lost. Don't ask me why I don't have backups. I'd been putting making ones off for too long. You know how it is.
Well, I may not be able to post as often depending on my ability to use this computer at night, but don't think I'm neglecting you guyz ok!! You all rule! I'll be back in full force soon. For now, though, pray for my hard drive, please

Awww, I wondered where you went off to! I was hoping it wasn't anything to do with your eye thing, I'm glad your okay!

Interesting thing is, though, I think I might just be able to use this computer more often than I thought until mine is repaired.

Cool Red. I'm sorry to hear about your hard drive, I know I might lose a lot of stuff offa this one when we get a new PC. I hope we get a new one soon anyway. That's it for now, you will be missed.

I know what you mean last time my hardrive was in trouble it had a virus.

I was very lucky to get my PC working without having to format my harddrive.

But what I usually do which i find is a very good method of backup is to upload all of my import files for college onto their server on the weekend (and not on disk

coz everyone knows how unreliable a disk can be

) if i'm at home. Then I can access it the next day and I try to burn most of my other stuff such as programs, music etc onto CD.

My PC is in very bad conditions too, at this moment, so I know what it feels like

As long as you can come here to post and read using another PC, even if not very often, it is not so bad!
