Your favorite Bands? (Top 3)
Just curious, and I'm sure this has been done before, but oh well;
1. A Fire Inside-Their new CD, Sing the Sorrow, may just be the very best Album I've ever heard. Most of their old stuff is a lot like Offspring, but this new CD is completely different, unlike any other genre of music I've ever heard before. Their new CD is incredible, and that's enough to make them my #1 favorite band. 2. The Offspring-I've been listening to Offspring since I was very young, and to this day, I still love their music, it's ****ing incredible. They just need a new CD, there hasn't been anything out recently. 3. Linkin Park-I admit, I really did start to get tired of these guys, and maybe even started to hate them a bit, since that horrible "Remix" CD, but their new CD is out and I ****ing love it, it's incredible, definitely their best CD yet. Now post, POST. |

1. Theory of a Dead Man
2. Finger Eleven 3. Kid Rock and Twisted Brown Trucker I dont buy CD's...never have but I listen to alot of music on my MP3 player and on the radio. The offspring WERE awesome Ill say that Esjay ..but I stress WERE...what have they come out with lately ?. Its been so long sence Ive heard anything from those guys that I wouldnt consider them for the list . The last song I rmemeber from them is "Get a Job" (Not sure if thats the name of it) and even that wasnt very good. As for AFI well....in my opinion thier so called "Old" stuff was TERRIBLE. The lead singer just screams incoherantly and so fast that you cant make sense of the noise. It did remind me of the Offspring kinda...if thier lead singer overdosed on sugar pills or something and was drunk on top of that. As for there new CD i havent heard much except for "Girl Not Grey" wich isnt bad..much better than there old crap.

Oh I'm such a girl!
1)Starsailor 2)Coldplay 3)Turin Brakes I must point out @ this moment that i'm not really a band lover , I look thru my music and see mostly single artists. I never buy albums either as I can download everything pretty quick on my broadband! I do like some bands like Korn, Stereophonics, Jamiroquai, Radiohead ect.. But it took me ages to think of any! lol! As my mind goes blank when you say 'Band'. You should have asked "Top 3 Albums" (tho i'm sure it's been done before!) Piggle x x x x

I like way too many bands to post a list of my top three.
Sorry . . . I've tried this before and I always feel unsatisfied with what I come up with. |

I agree that posting only 3 names in some cases is almost impossible. I have some difficulties choosing only three bands Smashing Pumpkins Joy Division Manic Street Preachers Each of those bands listed above released an album that more than others strongly influenced my life. Among the other bands, which I also love, I pick them just for this reason. But I repeat, it's a shame... EDIT: Piggle, there's a thread about fave albums, here. |

1. Live - these guys have been my favorites since I was like 4-5, they grew up around here (actually I live near Otter Creek) and still are one of my fav bands (all my top 3 are like tied hehe)
2. Nirvana - I've loved these guys since I was 4-5 also.. not much more to say.. I'm a big fan, currently reading Kurt Cobain Journals. 3. Tupac - I started listening to him like in 96 right before he died and started to love his music even more.. (Currently listening to Thugz Mansion [original, not the remix/one on MTV]) hehe lots of bands I like otherwise tho.. Its really hard for me to pick just 3.. (others are Offspring, Sublime, Chevelle, Taproot, Disturbed, Linkin Park, Incubus, Limp Bizkit [newer song Crack Addict is sweet..], and so many.. every CD I own I love.. [probably over 150] |

Just 3? That's almost impossible...but here's a random three that seem to hover around the top of my list:
1. Soundgarden 2. Smashing Pumpkins (good pick fortune) 3. Emperor Tommorrow my list will probably be different. _RED_ stuff

Tool
Alice In Chains Rage against the machine/Audioslave/Soungarden ( i can do this becasuse they are all apart of one) Tool: has some of the best lyrics and music melding that i have ever heard.... I really love what Maynard has to say w/ his music. AIC: is just an all around great band that gets no credit.... Lyrics are awesome... unique sound(at the time), and Laynes' voice.... Rage/Audio/SG: These are some of my fav bands ever and they all share apart of one another but are all unique.... I love what rage has to say and their awesome music, i loved Cornells vocals in SG, and Audioslave is a culmination of both and the final product.... Sorry i took up so much w/ mine but i love all these bands... and i love many more. Like Red said.... the list changes all the time.
