computer question
All right, I have a problem with my computer whenever I turn it on it starts beeping and doesn't stop until it shuts down. The beeping is also in the speakers and it makes it hard to listen to stuff through the speakers.
My question is: Is there anyone who could tell me what the problem may be? |

https://www.pcguide.com/ts/x/sys/beep...tinuous-c.html may have somthing relevant, but PCs are like small Babies... its hard to tell what the hell they're screaming about sometimes --- (possibly worth ignoring after Edit... though if you're curious ) this is a quick guess and probably some way of the mark, but you may want to check what temperature your CPU is running at. My PC used to beep when it started to overheat, but only beacuse I had a program that was installed to tell me so... Just press Delete shortly after switching on your computer to enter the BIOS and have a look for the temperature readings... I think you should be getting: around 40 degrees or cooler for an Intel Processor around 65 degrees or cooler for an AMD Processor just don't hold me to that

It's most likely a Video Card problem, because if it was a memory situation, a warning would appear on your desktop as well. The easiest solution would be to just replace your video card, which would solve the problem. Word of advice: you shouldn't mess around with your BIOS or Video card unless you have a lot of experience with hardware.

Lets not overlook a very simple problem he could have.... He might just need new speakers.

[Right click on the "speaker" in your system tray (the thingy containing the connection icon and the clock) > select open volume controls > options > properties > and tick "PC SPEAKER" in the "show the following volume controls" box then click "ok" > tick the mute button] on the other hand, it may already be ticked (mine is ) and this may have wasted your precious time
