Hunger!
It's meaningless, but I thought to share this little torture with you. How sad is when you're terribly hungry and you got nothing to eat at home? And to this at this moment I got no money at home with me, lol, I can't even go out and buy something. I'll have to wait till members of my family are back. In these cases, the more you think about it, the more your hunger increases. Cakes and biscuits, or anything edible become part of your fancies. I'm HUNGRY!
How can you resist hunger? What to do when you know you're hungry and can't eat? I can't, it's the only thing that can make me lose contact with reality, sigh! I could never be on a diet! NEVER! |

I resort to anything, i need food, i need it now. Usually a slice or two of white bread does the trick. All i have to do is find a friend or someone to keep me occupied with. Then hunger seems to go away. Or else an addictive game. Anime works too.

I don't know, I wouldn't what to do in your situation either. I've been in that before, just stayed there thinking about how good some food would be.

i hate being hungry...over here it's common. the oddest thing about it though, is that the fridge is always full. Although the only thing in the fridge is sauces and stuff..we got everything to put on the food except the food.

Ditto. Being Hungry sucks in a big way. Especially when you have no food on its way anytime soon. Ive resorted to eating some pretty pathetic things just to pretend I was filling my stumoch and tide me over. I wont be mentioning any of those pathetic things

The more you're hungry, the more you think about the fact of being hungry and you can't focus your attention on anything else. But most of the time being so hungry is just mental. I mean, you cannot be really THAT hungry if you eat everyday in a normal/healthy way etc... Banal suggestion would be: find distraction in other activities

Being hungry sucks! I'm sorry for you, but we all have these moments. I totally understand how much the situation is annoying. Beetlejuice, why do you keep only sauces in your fridge? Couldn't you buy food instead of sauces? Vicious, what are these pathetic things? I'm curious now! Red, to eat bugs your friend must be really desperate...

i do buy food but it always ends up missing.
I think it's because of the horde that lives here (mother, father and sister)...one time i made pizza for myself but didn't have anything to drink. So i went to the store nearby, by the time i came back there was nothing left except a pepperoni slice stuck to the counter. ..that was so wrong. The sauces are there because i guess everyone else here needs alot of flavor witht thier food. I'm not a big sauce fan myself. Except on certain things, that are nasty and i must eat to stay alive. The sauces comes in handy on certain occasions like that.

Honestly, I don't think you'd still be able to eat after drinking anything like that. This could solve the hunger problem though... |

*points at Rei and LMAOs at her*
I know the feeling, it's horrendous... what you can do, drink a shitload of water from the drink and you'll be bloated in no time. I'm serious about this.

He was really desperate at the time. I think it should serve as a good reminder to people that poverty is a huge problem in the U.S. just as in any other country. He did not reach the point where he was living in a gutter, but that kind of thing does go on everywhere and all the time. Blah...I'm ranting. _RED_ stuff

Being hungry is terrible, but most of the times we think we're hungry while we're not. I agree with those who said it's a very mental condition in some cases. I hate being hungry, but in many cases I just have to find other occupations to forget how much I'm hungry. When I'm really hungry, I mean, hungry for real, that is a different story. That's really bad, I hate the feeling. I know I'm hungry because I could eat almost anything

People wonder why so many people are overweight in the U.S., but one thing they dont know is that we have restaurants all over the goddamn place! Sometimes, when walking through cities, there's just no getting away from it. Anything from fast food joints to diners and in some places fancy restaurants are all calling your name with magnificently strong aromas that you can practically, but not quite, taste of the food that is waiting for you just inside (provided of course you have any money to waste.) It is evil! The fact that I don't weigh 250 lbs, which would look oh so wonderful at my height of 5'5", is a miracle. Don't live here if you have money and little will power!
