Anyone got the book already? I've preordered mine months ago and I'm still waiting for it to be delivered

I've read the book is good, but not as much as some of the previous ones. And I know it's 766 pages long. That's pretty long for a HP book! I don't want spoilers please, so if you have to write down that a character dies (and I know one among them dies, but I didn't want to know which one), please, mark the spoilers!

How many people got the book? Have you finished it yet? How's it? Was it worth our expectations?

*can't wait for her copy to arrive*

I got my copy on the day of release having preordered it from amazon in Feburary. I haven't even read the first page yet though... I kind of need to read the two before it first ^_^ (400 pages through HP4 now)

I hope you didn't accidentally order one of the copies that jump pages from 420-464 or summin' like that. They are recalling the books, but it would be a bi^&h to get one. When you do get it, check it for any bad pages.

I've got mine, got it yesterday (Tuesday) and so far it's good, a little slow getting into it but i suppose she had to set the scene ect... I'm on chapter 6 now.. Very interesting.....
Oh and by the way.....I wouldn't dare put anything about who dies not even hidden in a spoiler so no need to worry and I hope no-one else does if they get there before me, because Im dying to find out (excuse the pun) and i'm not sure if I could stop myself from reading the spoiler!!
But yes its a very BIG book, which I'm happy about coz then i'll be readin it for longer! maybe i'll try and it read it really really slowly so i'll finish it just in time for the next one!

! Yeh right!

I also can't wait for november for when the next film comes out!

I LOVE HARRY POTTER!!! Best creation ever! Well done Rowling!

I got 2 copies of this book.. the deluxe edition from amazon.com and the reg hard cover edition... I am on chapter seventeen right now and i am very very happy w/ this book.... I was afraid that maybe Rowling would let the fame get to her head but the characters and stories are phenomonal as ever!!

I am so in love w/ this book!! My girl bought me a little kids HP sleeping bag and we slept in it together and watched chamber of secrets the other night... damn that was fun

I'm not going to get this book, at least for now, simply because I haven't read all the other 4

I hope to not read spoilers around the web though, but it'll be pretty hard, 'cause everybody's talking about the new Harry Potter! If I have it spoiled, for sure I'll never buy it

Well... Ive just finished the book... Damn i wish the other two were already out.. Now i will have to re read the entire series again!! The book is really really good, I am just wanting to read more... and there is nothing more to read now... although i dont think its really a bad thing i want more... i guess thats the whole purpose of the books

Do you think I could buy this book and really get into it? Even though ive only read the third book, ive seen the film for the first book, or would have I needed to read the whole series to know whats going on.

Dantheman, read the whole series from 1 to 5. 5 is the first book I know that you can't really get into if you hadn't read the previous ones. And the movies let out bits and pieces of stuff that happened in the books anyway.
