Is it worth buying FF10?

i've got 7-9 and I really liked them, but some of my friends bought FFX and beat in a very short time. Just how long does it take to beat FFX??????????

i think it comes out to about 80 hours with sidequests but the differance is that you don't really get a chance to do any side quests till later in the game.

i think it comes out to almost be as long as 7

but of course if you're one of those people that maxes out everything it should be long enough. it's a good game, get it.

but I got everything on FF7 in less than 60 hours all master materia and everything.Does that mean that I'll beat FF10 in less than 60 hours.

are you sure you got 'everything' in less than 60 hours? it took me about 80 and that's all limit breaks including aries

yeah man I mean the only 1 I took 120 hours on was FF8 looking 4 da damn ribbon and then I found out I needed a pocketstation (which I bought a day later)

I Have Around 25 Games Now. And Still Havn't Bought "Final Fantasy X"..... Its A Good Thing, This Thread Is Already There. Cause Now I Can Ask....... Should I Get "FFX" Even Though I Have Never Played FF........ Never. Tried FFVIII.....Stopped In The Beginning.

But Everytime I Read Or See "FFX" Something Happens. Its Like I Really Should BUY And Own This Game. Should I? ........ But I Am Afraid.................. And No "I Dont Want To RENT It"...... Thank U!

I hate questions like that, we cant tell you what to buy its your decision but if you want my opinion then...

Yes FFX is very short in comparison to the prior FF's this is mainly becuase its so linear you travel along one simple road, you acnt get lost really like it was possible on the older final fantasy games.

Enough of the graons, the plot is outstanding very emotional at times this is backed up by a good soundtrack and an amazing cast of well roudned characters.

It has a whole host of side events to do upon completion which will keep you going 100+ hours. (Especially the International Version)

So in conclusion very linear but exellent all the same.
