T3: rise of the machines
A little chat with Arnold on the set of Terminator 3: Rise Of The Machines.
Link included at the end of the article. --------------------------------------------------------- Friday May 17, 2002 Arnold Looks Good in Exclusive 'T-3' Set Visit By Mike Szymanski May 15, 2002 WHITTIER, Calif. (Zap2it.com) - Not far from the epicenter of a devastating earthquake in Southern California less than a decade before, in the Rose Hills Cemetery, made to look rather smoky and mysterious on this bright sunny day, Arnold Schwarzenegger emerged from a crypt. He's carrying a casket with his old friend Sarah Connor's name on it, but what else does it contain? Time has also stood still for Schwarzenegger, who's in the middle of filming the latest Terminator movie -- "T3: Rise of the Machines." Zap2it along with a handful of other web sites and fan magazines are the only press allowed on the very-closed set of this most-anticipated movie scheduled for release July 2003 by Warner Bros. What's most astounding is that Arnold himself looks exactly like he did in 1984's incredible time-travel sci-fi "Terminator" and as good as he did in the 1991 "Terminator 2: Judgment Day" sequel even though he had heart surgery about a year ago, was in a motorcycle accident and is pushing 55. People on the set were amazed that the mountain of a man, the former T-800 robot, is as healthy and together as he was when he first appeared in Griffith Park's Observatory (naked, by the way) in the 1984 hit film. In his characteristic leather jacket and boots, walking stiffly and looking cool (despite the 90-plus degree heat), Schwarzenegger is fighting off a SWAT team at the crypt and is shooting back with his high-powered rifle. Perhaps he knows he's also aiming at the passel of journalists who are standing at a safe distance in the cemetery. "There's a lot of kick (to the gun)," Schwarzenegger says to Zap2it during a break for lunch. "It automatically comes with a device that lies right on your thigh so that it kicks into the thigh but not really. The idea of it is to make it as steady as possible so you can hit the target. If the gun keeps moving up or whatever like some old guns do, then you have to do the short bursts like we did in the old days. When I was in the army, all the machine gun fire was always ba-da-da, ba-da-da, ba-da-da so you stay on target. Ba-da-da-da-da-da-da is wasting ammunition." He smiles through the fake blood running down his face, with a hint of his silvery robotic metal underneath (it's great make-up), and he is then asked why he's doing the movie without director James Cameron, which he said he would never do. He simply says, "I changed my mind." The film, also starring Nick Stahl as John Connor and Claire Danes, his girlfriend, is under a veil of intense secrecy, but in week's to come, check back as Zap2it gives more details about this exclusive set visit as well as photos from the set. Check back, and type "Terminator" in the Search! ©2002 Zap2it.com / Tribune Media Services ------------------ Link to article: https://www.zap2it.com/movies/news/st...-12328,00.html

Actually, I think he was just one of the serial robots or cyborgs or whatever that would be created, perhaps that one was just gone for good, and the next "hero" will be just another machin more, I think. But I'm not sure of what I'm saying, so please no one begin to say I'm a ****ing liar
PS: goodman, You have a freaking nice avatar and sig!

That's true about the cyborg thing. A question has just popped up to my mind: who was the good guy in the first Terminator? Was he John O'Connor? Or who was he? Because, then, it would have meant he traveled back in time, to screw his own mother, and create himself, kinda confusing :p
I'm sorru, I have seen that movie so long ago, I don't remember a thing.

I can't remember either..i don't think it was John Connor himself though. Anyone looking forward to the game?..i think it's coming to the Ps2 and Xbox. I'm guessing it'll have nothing to do w/ this new movie. Hopefully the plot takes place before the first film.

Well, this reflects how ignorant and uninformed I am! I didn't know about the game! Let's hope it's badass!!!
I have seen several games in arcades, SNES and stuff....I wonder what will they come out with this time
