The Boxart is looking good. Hopefully it stays the same when it arrives here in the US.

I can explain the purpose of pyramid head to you if you wish, by the way. That is actually made quite clear, surprisingly to a lot of people. Or atleast this would be the most widely excepted theory based on what is said and happens in the game. I would love it if the red pyramidhead or something playing the same role as this "character" showed up in SH4 just to mix it up a little. _RED_ stuff

We got the package from Konami on July 7th, and the screenshots were all in the PlayStation 2 folder - not that there couldn't be an error, of course.

I don't know when this game will be out for the US release (maybe October?) so I may be too late with this info, but just in case... if some of you guys have an import PS2 or a Japanese PS2, the JP version of "SH: The Room" has English dialogue.

this game got some really weak reviews, i'm gonna hold off on it til maybe december. There's alot of games coming out that i want to get first. I know it isn't going to be the best SH experiance.. but it is still an SH experiance!

I'm still pretty excited about it regardless of what reviews say! I'm amused by simple things anyway, so I can't go wrong!
I went to the store today to get it (it's the 7th) and they informed me it wont be in until the 9th (in Canada!)! GRR I was pretty bummed... I was getting myself all hyped over it too! |

hi Gadzoox, please post a review or just some impressions when you get it.
I'm still kinda debating on if i should go ahead and get it this week. I saw some of those vids at IGN..made me want to play it. |

Hopefully my blockbuster gets the game this Friday, they haven’t been too great with getting games on time lately.

this is deffinately the best place to pick up a SH review from. I hope it doesn't get a perfect, because i know i'll cave in and buy it right after reading the review..
yea, money is kinda tight right now. I'll be buying this game for sure, just a matter of time. My collection wouldn't be complete without the fourth installment of the series. I read the review at IGN and it seemed more accurate than the gamespot one..they tend to go into greater detail in their reviews than gamespot. The reviewer said "It like waking up hungry to a plate of lukewarm eggs" he seemed to like the game, yet it just wasn't the best game of the series.

Yeah i just finished reading some of the IGN review myself. If i was a fan of the series at this point id probably check it out, but this time around other than this forum, no one at all even mentions the game. I do believe the thrill is pretty much gone, although really it was a year ago, not much buzz even then. Im liking the Fatal Frame series, which is different than Silent Hills and RE games, and will continue checking out games along those lines, although its clearly an obscure game, Ghosthunter does have a small following, although im not sure its even available for rent...
