You just can't beat static-X. I'd sell my soul to the devil to be able to see them live. Rob Zombie is awsome live I recommend seeing one of his shows. Corrosion of Conformity is a pretty awsome band...they've kinda got an old metallica sound. Also there's a new band out right now called "Down" the guitarist is Pepper Keenan from COC and the singer is from Pantera...they're some of the heaviest notes i've heard in a long time and its actually good music too.

Is it true that pantera finally broke up??? Cause they had side-projects going for some time but I heard that Phil said they've called it quits. It should be a shame the last few albums weren't that great but it was always nice to see them live or to watch a vulgair video

( those video's are truely awesome...make me wanna start a band again...)

PS I heard that life of agony got back with Keith Caputo that's the best freakin' news in years one of my all time favorite bands...Keith is such a great singer can't wait to see them perform all the classics

God I'm so happy Youth of today touring europe soon...Life of agony back in original line-up...best summer ever...)

Have any of you seen/heard of MTV Icon, I just saw it the other night but considering we in Europe are always behind the states it's probably on for some time there....anyway I saw all these bands cover metallica songs in front of them. It was like this big hommage to metallica, it was so excellent Korn doing One, Limp Bizkit doing sanitarium, Snoop Dogg(!!!) doing Sad but True. It totally rocked can you guys maybe tell me what other bands are gonna be featured on the show seeing as it is a serie and down here we've only had Aerosmith and Metallica so far. And I'm so looking forward to the next show.

Well i was talkin with some people and i decided to dig through the archives and bring back the metal maddness!

So... since this was on page 23! i assume their is plenty to talk about in the world of metal of recent.... Break ups you wish never happened... getting back together.. how and why? Who are your new major likes and dislikes now... and have they changed since last time??

Well break up i wish never happened: Fear Factory... but... if my information serves me correctly i hear that they are touring w/ chimera and slipknot... hitting my area on april 14th!

Getting back together.... well i know there are some LB fans out there... but i am not one of them... I really wish they would have taken the loss of Wes as a sign.. .i got the new cd cause i am all about colllections and i liked the first two Limp albums.. but IMO after that they went way down hill... but thats me

Well my likes and dislikes are much the same for the top 3.. tool, AIC and NIN... But... i have a new addition to my love of all things metal... But: Warning! its not official metal... punk rock has swept me up a bit... i am really into bands like brand new, thursday, taking back sunday, coheed and cambria among others... IMO they are a form of harder rock.. you arent gonna hear them on the easy listenin stations.. but no worries... when it comes to preference... I'll pop in aenima or antichrist superstar or perhaps even The downward spiral to get my jollies off

Well thats pretty much it for me... So COME ON METAL FANS!! lets hear whats been up with you!

Yeah... ya know what... I did take offense to it... and it was my problem... I just heard this on MuchNews an hour or two ago and it's terrible!

Nick Oliveri has left Queens of the Stone Age which was always a band that was based on a partnership between himself (bassist) and Josh Homme (singer and lead guitarist).

Apparently Josh is putting together a new line-up regardless but this is still pretty bad.

Galder, who is the braindchild behind OMC (along with his buddy Jardir (spelling)) and drummer this time round, Nicholas Barker are also a full time members of much hailed Dimmu Borgir, which just came out with another new album, themselves. They are currently touring or just wrapped up recently, I believe.

Anybody who is into "gothenburg" "black metal" or "epic metal" check out these two bands. THey never dissappoint.

I have many more suggestions where those came from so stay tuned.

Man, I'm so freaking excited the pro-bot cd is out!
You probably heard about it the project of dave grohl with some old school metal heros....how about Tom G. Warrior(celtic frost), Cronos(Freakin' VENOM), Lemmy, one of the DRI guys and the list goes on!!!
This is so gonna kick major ass, it'll be unbelievable one of the most anticipated albums for a long time.
