For me FFVII has a great storyline and plot in it and great charcters too.
I also like the materia system too, I defintly prefer it compared to the junction system in FF8 :p

How about we change this question around a little bit. What is NOT good about FFVII? I can't think of anything..

I guess I'm not the right person to say what's good in FF7, because it's my fave game ever.
I especially like the atmosphere of that game. Also, some of the characters from FF7 are the ones I remember better. And the story was a piece of art. Well, I guess that's all EDIT: there's no need to post a "hello" reply. I think that can be considered spam. Next time don't double post without reason. Thanks. |

The Sphere Grid, it's hard to explain, it's better to just buy X

Yeah, the sphere system gives you a bit more control in development of your characters.
I love FFVII-it introduced my on of my fav characters in Cait Sith and Sephiroth and just game play made it unique for the times. It does stand out in my mind. Well, changing the subject again-Which battle system is better? I need a little help with this. What are the battle systems for the playstation FF? FFVII-materia system FFVIII-? FFIX-? FFX-sphere grid system |

This is going to be a biased opinion.
FF VII is one of the best, but not as good as FFVI. The game was the first for Sony and it shows how well they work together.

Sorry Fortune, you are mistaken.
FF6 is much much better than FF7.

You don't have to force me to say you're right, because I don't think so. I prefer FFVII, so why do I have to say FFVI is better?

Damn, my attempt at a childish argument failed.
Anyways, FF7 has some of the best music yet to be improved on. FFX came close, but not as good. A very original storyline and a high replay value. This game is simply amazing.
