Favorite Studio Ghibli Film?
Which of the Studio Ghibli films is your favorite? You can name more than one if you can't decide.
For those who don't know, Studio Ghibli is the team that produces all of the popular Miyazaki, Hayao and Takahata, Isao films, such as "Princess Mononoke" and "Grave of the Fireflies". There are also other films not directed by these two which are just as good. My favorite 3 so far would be: 1) The Cat Returns (Neko no Ongaeshi) 2) Whisper of the Heart (Mimi o Sumaseba) 3) Spirited Away (Sen to Chihiro no Kamikakushi)

Id love to give a top three but I only ever REMEMBER seeing one. That being Spirited Away . I really did enjoy the movie. The visuals were amazing, as was the voice acting. The detail of the fantastical (Hmm is that even a word ?) environments really got me hooked
So that being said it is my favorite Studio Ghibli film, and maybe the only one ive seen

Well, just about all (of the ones I've seen) of the Ghibli films are great. They're all pretty unique and have different things to offer.
Narrowing it down to one, I'll go with Laputa: Castle in the Sky. It was such a sweet film filled with warm fantasy. I found this movie to be truly amazing. |

I think my fave so far is Spirited Away, but I haven't watched many SG movies... Sadly!

1 - Princess Mononoke
2 - Spirited Away 3 - Grave of the Fireflies 4 - Kiki's Delivery Service Those are the only four i've seen so far. Can't get Castle in the Sky anymore and the next best thing to the proper Ghibli stuff would be the Lupin III films (haven't seen them yet). To be honest, that's a bit of weird list I made up, because I love them all and Grave and Kiki are about as different from each other as Sigourney Weaver and the Taste of Wallpaper Paste.

Pom Poko. It's lovely. Spirited away and Totoro are close second choices.
