Yeah, I do that too, but sometimes the subtitles are really horrible. I might as well get fansubs, since they're a little better.

A great way to get cheaper anime is to either get it from Ebay. Like Fortune said, buying it from Hong Kong is usually very cheap, and is still good.
I also have an anime server on a program called Hotline with a buddy so I dub onto tapes from his computer using video-out cables and it works really well. |

aye, and god bless people like Reid too, them and there servers lol, but you will probably need to get a divx player, (found on morphues) to play the files because they are DVD rips(thats why the quality is so good lol) but just get them off of morphues, and maybe it will come with a player too, theres no telling what you can get off of morphues, i dl like 3 diff codecs just to be sure i got the right one and ive been able to play any audio file no matter how hacked up it is, but then i have a virtual dubbing prog too that patches up bad video files and plays them as clear as it is possible to play the thing. But i could e-mail you the progs, as for the anime, 56k modem, 80-120 megs per file, girl you must be crazy! (ahh im messing with ya on that, i just dont want to spend a week online to send one file lol)

I'm downloading Escaflowne episode 15 right now on a 56k on Imesh. Will it ever be done?
And I like subtitled anime the best also. The english vopices butcher the show. There are the exeptions though, like Cowboy Bebop, Outlaw star, and most of the voices in Evangelion I think have better English voices. But that's my opinion. I can't buy anything online, and I'm not alowd to download anything off the internet, so it hard for me to get my anime on the net without my parents finding out. All I can do is cough up the $31.87 at On Cue and get5 all of my anime on DVD. Kills the dough.

"Archive" is also really great music, but I don't know where to find their CD to buy.
(Ebay?) I had to burn my copy, from a burn, from a burn, from a burn, from a burn, etc. :p |

Or friend's with diverse tastes too.
Then you can burn CDs and discover a band that you wouldn't have, because you wouldn't want to spend money on something that might not be good. :p |
