Just wondering what things in life really make you feel alive?

For me theres not much, well not much that i get to do at the moment (because of where I currently live) but I would have to say:

1. Driving at stupidly high speeds

2. Snowboarding, gives a great adrenaline rush going down a steep hill with no distractions, its a wonderful experience.

3. Near death experiences, to quote a film "You feel most alive just before you die!"

4. Rocking out to a favourite song and just losing yourself init, usually something quite heavy and loud.

Thats all i can think of at the miniute.

So what makes you guys feel alive? Or do you not feel particulary alive?

Don't try this at home:

There's nothing quite like a small electric shock, to tell you you are alive.
It's like someone hits you straight in the heart with a brick of ice. Just the other day at work I had to remove someone's calculator, wanted to cut the wire asked if they had taken out the right socket, they replied yes...I cut the electric wire with an iron pair of scissors ...big bang sparkles everywhere and the right part of the building without electricity...
Had a strange sensation in my body all day It was quite the jumpstart for your day I tell you.

Being in love, being close to friends and family, a nice night out. All the good things that make me feel happy. Sometimes negative feelings make you feel alive too, especially when they require action. It can be stimulating.

I know this is sad but to tell you the truth, I feel most alive when my parents are away. You have no idea how happy I am. I feel so free. Of course we bend the rules when they're gone but they dont know that. They think me and my sisters are good lil girls and we're gonna keep it that way. Just being able to ride around town all night is thrilling for me. Being raised with my parents is like being sheltered for your whole life. My father is very overprotective of me and my sisters, sometimes too much..

I'm not much of a thrill seeker but I probably need to do it again. Falling 300 ft from the air.... Of course I'm talking about a roller coaster. (Power Tower) Get a good adrenaline rush....

But like Faile said... Sadly nothing these days.
