my magikarp wont evolve

and its pissing me off, i got suckered into buying a 500g magikarp in pkmn yellow and so ive been growing it and he still wont evolve, he cant learn anything either!! he's so useless!! gah! i want him to evolllvvee!!!!

I posted this on the general board because im bored :-D

Yet he evolves into Gyarados at level 20. o_o

Not only that, he learns Tackle at level 15.

I prefer the new ones on the Game Cube. Such as the Pokémon Colosseum and the new Gale of Darkness game. It adds a more RPG role of it other than just collecting cute little creatures that make my gf happy.
