nokia game system

Any of you guys heard of a new nokia game system (outside of the realm of snake). I just saw it up for demo, looked pretty cool.
Bringing back sonic, i can't complain.

You guys know anything about it?

That thing is going to be expensive, but see what you are getting with it......

Its a video game system
A Mobile (Triband)
An MP3 Player
And like other phones, can access to internet (Using email and all)

So its all in one, And I was going to buy a phone, its coming out Oct 7th, in North America...... I am waiting for it............. not really for to play games on it... but to use it as a phone and an MP3 Player (64Mb Ram Included) which means, around 15 songs, which isn't that bad.

I think I'll buy it...... it'll go around... $349 (Canadian).

Every place I've seen it says $300.00 US. Too expensive for me. I don't need a mobile phone, I don't need to check my email every 10 minutes, and I don't need an MP3 player. So it would come down to games and right now it appears the GBA has better games

plus it's $200.00 cheaper.

Nokia definately has something here, IMO. With the features Makg mentioned, especially the fact it is a mobile phone, think about it. This is a deal considering most fancy mobile phones these days already cost up in the 200's of dollars, and they can't play videogames, nor are they mp3 players, etc. It will have a lot of trouble contending with Sony when the PSP comes out, but its getting a year's headstart on it. I am definately going to carefully consider purchasing this machine at some point.

I work for Nokia and have worked directly with this phone. While its an attractive, fairly useable product, the price makes it pretty hard to be too interested. I will say from my experiences dealing with it it does seem to be pretty stable as far as the software running well with it. The price would be a turnoff for me, though, most anything with several uses doesnt do any of them too well...

Oooooh yeah, I forgot to mention that you can make your GBA an mp3 player for $100.00. So the only feature I would really want I can get on the GBA. Granted you can get good MP3 players for that price so it really wouldn't be worth it...but still cool.

i think the single most intriguing part about the n-gage is the multiplayer wireless gameplay. Since it is a cell phone it has gained the potential to connect to other n-gage players, and as I understand it you don't have to use airtime to connect to other players. Seems like there is a lot of potential.

I just picked up a nokia n-gage and I was curious to see if any of you did the same... maybe we could play wireless or something. What do you guys think of it? I love mine... its become my security blanket.

Tried my firends today, played sonic, its alright, games are to expensive, and it looks camp when talking on the phone.

alright? Man i was so impressed when i first saw it. Red faction, tony hawk, sonic... all fun games especially when you play others wireless. The phone part is just as good as any other phone, the game system is the best out right now, and the mp3 player gets the job done. It's all good.

As long as your happy, that is all that matters, im done with buying expensive hardware for things that id rarely if ever use, and i already have a cell phone...
