Freedom Fighter's
Well i bought this game two day's ago and have just completed it tonight. But it seem's on alot of forums i go to im really the only one who has heard of freedom fighters
Now this is an not too distant future with an alternative history. russia made the hydrogen bomb and won WWII giving the soviets a big boost in power. in 1951 england joined the commiunist block the last country to do. soveit set up mid-range weapons in cuba and now has set their sites on america. which has been free for far too long in the red's eyes. anybody who has seen the movie red dawn will be right at home for this. the sqaud system amazeingly is fun and pretty simple to use. one button is too scout, follow me and defend most of your men fire at free will so nothing to worry about there. you can have up to 12 gun-toting pissed of americans at your use but before you can get 12 of these people you have to raise your charisma level. the more you do the more freedom flighters will flock to your side. The graphic's arent perfect but pretty easy on the eye's. the enviroment is dark and gritty as it should be considering everything is blowing up before your eye's. the character models are pretty well done but i noticed some pretty bad lip syncing. The gunshot sounds are so-so they get the job done. but the music is.......AMAZEING (imo) when ever you perfrom a deed that raises your charisma level oprea music starts to play. which fits very well with the game i love it. the gaming value is pretty low once you beat it (unless you want to beat each diffcuilty level there are four) the mutiplayer was thrown in just for kicks it seems. but if you have 3 friends it will be a blast indeed. the thing of mutiplayer is really like capture the flag and king of the hill when you raise your flag on the flag pole. you have to keep it within the time in that time you can take over bunkers and keep recruiting more men. (as the russians or americans and the number of men is infinite as long as you have secured a bunker of course) But overall i give this game a 8/10 i think it will become a sleeper hit but thats just me Now here are some screen shots Taking over He didnt like the painting....... Russian troops rolling in Plumber turned into......badass commander Silence Going in underequipped

Ive checked out the reviews and it got a pretty good reception by most. X Play gave it a 4 out of 5 and spoke of how good the game was. Its got me pretty curious. But for onr reason or another I havent seen it at my local Blockbuster or Hollywood video yet. Ill be keeping an eye out for it though, its nto the kind of game I would ever buy, but I would definately rent it If I had the chance.

I've played it over at a friend's house, looks pretty decent but I'm gonna put my money on Call of duty

I managed to rent it about a few days ago. I really dig the original storyline. And over all it plays very well. But im not as impressed as I thought id be. This isnt a major A title like I thought it was. But its a very solid B title. I would have loved a little more effort to be put into this game. It could have been much more impresive visually. And with a large dose of realism this game could have been fantastic. Instead its just plain old "Good". I agree with beretta, this game earns an 8/10

Freedom Fighters sounds like a great game and I know that I will EVENTUALLY buy this game, but its a kind of game that can wait, and I would buy it when the price goes down, which is in March 2004 or something like that. I love HITMAN2, and thats why I want to have this game too.
