Thinking: Wonder how my presentation for the board will go tomorrow, when I'm finished I'm gonna head into the first bar in sight for a drink.

Thinking: This is my 3rd and last week of class. The 19th is my last day. Man, it feels good, but at the same time it feels weird to be back in school.

These weeks have been pretty decent so far. For math we're just getting into equations. 1st 2 weeks were fractions, decimals, and binary numbers. I've always sucked trying to turn fractions into decimals, and vice versa. And binary numbers are pretty easy so far.

Got another class which is good, but it sucks because of all the oral presentations. Man, I hate those. Whatever happened to just turning in your work these days? The other class which I'm getting ready for is Introduction to PC's. It's cool but boring. I don't know the terms for the computers, but I know that this would go to that.... and such lol. We're also taking the computer apart and putting them back together.

I have 3 classes a week (1 class Tuesday, Wednesday, and Friday), and I'm only in these classes for a couple of hours. 6-10:20pm. (I wish they were morning classes, but oh well.) Sometimes I get out even earlier than that.

I just saw this commercial on the dutch television, really made me smile!

I'm planning to go on a fly&drive holiday through Italy this summer, so I'm bound to find out for myself. Allthough my knowledge of the italian language is minimal... Can you get away with a bit of english or french in most cities??

By the way, whenever you go abroad you almost always can spot all the nationalities just by looking at people and how they behave. Maybe it has something to do that I see so many tourists from all over the world in Amsterdam and you get trained somehow.
Personally my problem is that when I'm abroad people think that because of our language we're german....

English and French... it's hard to say. Most average people don't speak either of them, but in bigger cities, because of tourism, in shops they will probably understand you, especially if you speak English to them.

BTW, if you come to Italy and we haven't moved out of the country yet, let's arrange a meeting

So I better start picking up on the italian language... luckily I got an italian collegea, so maybe he can give me a crash course.
A meeting would be sooo cool, we are planning to stay near Napels but we hopefully get a rental car. Cause Rome will be one of the things we really want to see! I'll keep you updated on our plans!

The plans are that I am staying in Baia Domizia from the 8th of july through to the 22nd. We got a rental car and there is a trainstation nearby from which we can easily travel to Napoli and Roma, so maybe we can meet up in Roma sometime then? If that's cool with you we can pm or email in a few months about details and so on?
