Stephen King
Mr. King reported that he's going to stop publishing stories from now on. Says he's killed enough trees!
In a way I'm not really upset about this. He has lived such an amazingly full and influencial life, plus I've only read about 15 of his books so far so I've still go plenty to keep me busy for a while yet! But then again it is sad because he is getting older and 'retirement' is like the big thing for getting older. Make sense? What do you guys think? And if you've got something to say against him, please have support for your points! I despise it when people say 'so-and-so sucks.' and when asked why they say 'They suck.' I know its your personal opinion and all but Mr. King is a great inspiration to me and it hurts when people put him down for no reason!!! Give me a reason to listen to you! Alright enough of this sentimental crud! Are you sad/happy he's done his thing? Why? |

i think you mis-understood. He said that he's not going to write anymore. Stephen King has stuff stacked up and he can publish for quite a few years. He said he doesn't need anymore money.

I agree with ya Rex. I've yet to finish reading that article too!
I don't think he's going to stop writing. I mean if I became a famous artist and 'retire', I wouldn't ever stop painting/drawing, unless I died. It's his livelyhood, so why would he stop? And we all now he doesn't need more money! |

The survival horror game of all time!
One of his books would definately make a good videogame. Seeing as he's already done movies. Or maybe if he directly wrote the story for one original for a game exclusively. Too bad he probably won't make the time for that sort of thing anymore.
