You guys!!!!

David Bowie is coming to my town on April 2nd and I FINALLY get to see him!! i'm SO ridiculously happy it's crazy!!! One of my dreams have come true!

*runs around screaming with joy*

Might as well make a real point to this thread other than telling you guys my good news!!!

What dream(s) have you had that have come true before?!

I don't mean 'sleeping' dreams, but something that you've always wanted to happen to you or for you to own or something.

Wow, finally, you get to meet your ever so beloved David Bowie. I am very happy for you. You've always expressed how much you've always loved David Bowie, and i can only imagine how truely excited you are.

But sadly enough, non of my dreams have ever come true. Some small things that i say, sweet ass, my dream has come true, but nothing really spectacular.

As for my dream that came true, well... none of em actually did.

Wait, there was this one time when I wish I had a bag of doritos and then BAM! there was a bag right there in the pantry. Yea, it was awesome.

Cool Gadz, congrats!!!

When I was younger I always wanted to play a big gig with a band, that dream came through when we played the european hardcore party in front of 1500 people! And we rocked! It was beautiful quite an amazing feeling to blast your guitar parts THAT loud

As for my dreams.... I dont really have many dreams or "goals" to say... so none of them really come true.... Although one time i won tickets to Toronto to go see audioslave for free... that was kick ass.... so yeah i'll use that one

That is absolutely fantastic!

My dream was to meet Elijah Wood. I have since seeing him in Radio Flyer and Forever young as he's such an amazing actor and now I've met him twice! The first time at the after party for FotR was such an amazing experience as it was just a casual meeting, not loads of other fans around or an agent rushing him about, just a relaxed meeting where we chatted and he was a super amazing guy! I'll never forget it!

Im sure Bowie will meet you and be absolutely gobsmacked by your beauty and whisk you off with him! Well U can dream!

And on that note...I met Chris Cornell briefly about 5 years ago. He was on tour for his solo album "Euphoria Morning" which was incredible enough...then the guy walked down the aisle into the audience (it was this old theater with seats...really cool setting.) Well I made my way over there and shook his hand and told him how much his music had inspired me over the years. He sang happy birthday to this one girl who's friends were holding up a sign that said it was her birthday.

She probably just about died.

And more recently, I saw another one of my all time favorites, Cradle of Filth live in a small venue. I got myself a place right up front. GUitars and long hair were practically in my face. BUddha!
