I played this game and traded it in, for me the running between mission points were just too far. But the game play and mechanics were done very well. I was glad to see them take the vice city feel and direction and bring it back.

GTA IV is the best game of the year and it won the awards and i see no threads at all about this game........

That wasn't very smart. No offense but didn't you know that you can hail a taxi cab and get to any destination you want pretty much instantly?

Wow... I'm getting on this thread about four years too late, but GTA IV has had amazing amounts of replay value for me. Between the normal game, the DLCs of Ballad of Gay Tony and Lost and the Damned... Yeah I've had a lot of fun with the game. I normally dust it off and play the story mode, completely through, about once every couple of months. Which is fantastic since the game came out back in 2008. So, all said and Done, a great game. I'm hoping that GTA V will be worth the wait, and to be honest I'm sure it will be.
