Em's Mosh

find it on the top left

the flow is odd and too slow but verbally hes on some craziness

**********
Scrutinize every word, memorize every line
I spit it once, refuel, reenergize, and rewind
I give sight to the blind, mind sight through the mind
I ostracize my right to express when I feel it's time
It's just all in your mind, what you interpret it as
I say to fight you take it as I’m gonna whip someone's ass
If you don't understand don't even bother to ask
A father who has grown up with a fatherless past
Who has blown up now to rap phenomenon that has
Or at least shows no difficulty multi task
And juggling both, perhaps mastered his craft slash
Entrepreneur who has held long too few more rap acts
Who has had a few obstacles thrown his way through the last half
Of his career typical manure moving past that
Mister kiss his ass crack, he's a class act
Rubber band man, yea he just snaps back

Come along, follow me as I lead through the darkness
As I provide just enough spark, that we need to proceed
Carry on, give me hope, give me strength,
Come with me, and I won't stear you wrong
Put your faith and your trust as I guide us through the fog
Till the light, at the end, of the tunnel, we gonna fight,
We gonna charge, we gonna stomp, we gonna march through the swamp
We gonna mosh through the marsh, take us right through the doors

To the people up top, on the side and the middle,
Come together, let's all bomb and swamp just a little
Just let it gradually build, from the front to the back
All you can see is a sea of people, some white and some black
Don't matter what color, all that matters is we gathered together
To celebrate for the same cause, no matter the weather
If it rains let it rain, yea the wetter the better
They ain't gonna stop us, they can't, we're stronger now more then ever,
They tell us no we say yea, they tell us stop we say go,
Rebel with a rebel yell, raise hell we gonna let em know
Stomp, push up, mush, fuck Bush, until they bring our troops home come on just . . .

We gonna mosh through the marsh, take us right through the doors, come on

Imagine it pouring, it's raining down on us,
Mosh pits outside the oval office
Someone's trying to tell us something, maybe this is God just saying
we're responsible for this monster, this coward, that we have empowered
This is Bin Laden, look at his head nodding,
How could we allow something like this, Without pumping our fist
Now this is our, final hour
Let me be the voice, and your strength, and your choice
Let me simplify the rhyme, just to amplify the noise
Try to amplify the times it, and multiply it by six
Teen million people are equal of this high pitch
Maybe we can reach Al Quaida through my speech
Let the President answer on high anarchy
Strap him with AK-47, let him go
Fight his own war, let him impress daddy that way
No more blood for oil, we got our own battles to fight on our soil
No more psychological warfare to trick us to think that we ain't loyal
If we don't serve our own country we're patronizing a hero
Look in his eyes, it's all lies, the stars and stripes
They've been swiped, washed out and wiped,
And Replaced with his own face, mosh now or die
If I get sniped tonight you'll know why, because I told you to fight

So come along, follow me as I lead through the darkness
As I provide just enough spark, that we need to proceed
Carry on, give me hope, give me strength,
Come with me, and I won't stear you wrong
Put your faith and your trust as I guide us through the fog
Till the light, at the end, of the tunnel, we gonna fight,
We gonna charge, we gonna stomp, we gonna march through the swamp
We gonna mosh through the marsh, take us right through the doors

[Eminem speaking angrily]
And as we proceed, to mosh through this desert storm, in these closing statements, if they should argue, let us beg to differ, as we set aside our differences, and assemble our own army, to disarm this weapon of mass destruction that we call our president, for the present, and mosh for the future of our next generation, to speak and be heard, Mr. President, Mr. Sena

'just lose it' is bla...I've never been bored with eminem but that song is just unfunny and he shows only that he can rap like a third grader. And the video is making fun of the 80's mostly...why do that? I dunno

the link is at the top of my last post..the songs called Mosh

I hope he stays away from tracks like just lose it and shows some ireverent behavior and wordplay....which he probably will. 'Encore' comes out in Nov, cant wait

eminem's trying to spin off what a ton of underground rappers have been doing all this time with very anti-bush lyrics and get famous from it. He has the right to speak his mind but he's biting some serious lines from underground cats.

Also let's not forget Zack De La Rocha... he's been doin some guerilly style cameo appearances here and there voicing his opinion.

Honestly, Feminem is pale in comparison. I'm not fallin for the lines he's biting. ANd his idea of political lyrics are childish at best.

Also check outthis cat right here: www.mrlif.com

Mr. Lif is awesome. Him and his boy Akrobatik be tearin it up.

If you want some really good politically charged rap your gonna have to dig into the underground for obvious reasons. www.soundclick.com
Do a search. Check out my boy 8bzaG He's got his own angle, too.
I got a group coming sometime in the future. I'm still puttig it together. My boy 8 might be a part of it when we've recruited everybody. We'll be sharing the production.

Remember the underground is where it's at.

PEACE OUT

Errr... not exactly sure if your aware of this, but Eminem started out as an underground rapper.

As far as the song goes. I like it. He's telling the truth anyway. Last time I checked they were gonna ban this cd though. So you might have to get it as soon as it's released.

and as for underground political rap..I never said I liked that. I do have every "Rage.." album so I know about Zack and all his anger issues lol

but I cant stand underground cats, some act like a dictionary is a ryhme book-no thanks...then again I cant stand mainstream junk either so bla

Encore is ..alright....I guess. Starts off promising and then trickles off towards the end. The booklet for the cd is laughs though

raps like a 3rd grader...thats classic...although obviously way over exageration.

Id like to see a 3rd grader sell that many albums...as for just lose it, it is rather funny. It makes more sence with the video, but if you actually just listen to the song, it is in fact rather entertaining. I like how its not a rythem based rap song. Not many people sing like that anymore. Mostly its line 1 equals line 2 3 is the same as 4 and so on...he mixes it up rather well.

The mosh song is just eminems opinion on things and nothing wrong with that. Not a big fan of the song, but I respect him for comming out with his opinion in that way. As for copying underground stuff....i dunno how rap educated you are, but eminem was underground before he was ever famous. Check out his work with Scam, Hogs, THC, and the laughable Deer Mice. Good times.

Album is good...as for removing it...would never happen. There is worse stuff already out there, problem is eminem is too popular for his own good, thus it just attracts to much attention.

I am not sure what you mean by this statement. Should I take it to mean you believe the average emcee should be limited in vocabulary in order to cater to the masses? I could have misinterpreted that entirely, though.

Either way, it sounds like you have VERY particular tastes in rap by your statements, but that could be a complete misrepresentation of your normal music loving self. Who knows?

Heh, i got tapes and tapes of freestyles I've done in my mini cassette recorder just randomly throughout my day. Some subject matter is deep, some less deep. I find the more I practice, the deeper things I am able to say without screwing up the rhyme or most importantly the flow and rythmn.

Flowing is hard work. Eminem has paid his dues, I agree. My earlier comment about him was kind of impulsive due to the fact that I believe his flowing abilities are waning, while perfectly good emcees who are on the rise expanding there talent, still will not get recognized. I shouldn't take it out on him personally. Like someone just said, he is too popular for his own good. In many ways, it would suck to be him.

naw, I dont mean they need to be in limited vocab

I really liked Canibus for some time, when he was underground...but then I got tired of him constantly doing mathematical jargon/ metaphysical sience/ jramma lamma ding dong in every one of his songs. I still have most of the songs he did which just are to dope to put away for good but cant say that I'm a fan anymore

and to put it more clearly, the underground rap scene isnt filled with vocabulary filled jargon...its present, but thats not what bothers me

to me, it sounds like intangible aspects of things...instead of saying how he feels about work, Aesop Rock would say
"Zoom in to the fuming of an aggravated breed
Via the study of post-adolesent agitated seeds
Half the patients wasted self pride at Commencement
So I focus on the urban Oxygen samples, the hot that made it breathe
They sold Pompeii impression, waste infections
And twelve steps to lesson"

sounds like poetry, but guess what? I'm not interested to the point where I'll buy an album. Hip hop is so weird now, everything practically sucks but it all has its place so hip hop cant be without it

sampling is getting ridiculous but still delivers some nice tracks
party music is repetetive, but what else am I going to dance to?
obscure music is too obscure and it boderlines jibberish, but still is worth while if you like sitting down to pick stuff apart

ODB died today, I just found out (while typing this no less) and I cant help to wish hip hop was back in the 90's again...Wu, Big, Pac, Pun all running things along with todays still here artists Redman, Mos Def, Snoop, Jay, Nas, Em. I cant even imagine how great it would be to listen to albums and radio if that were the case

but you know....I might still have a problem with it for some reason or other

blah, dont mind me...I'm a jaded hip hop fan thats upset that there arent many blends of intelligent and entertaining emcees anymore

ODB died today?!?!? Thought he was in jail, what happened?

I like Eminem’s lyrics when he's being comical not the depressing side moaning on about his unfortunate up bring (still genius though) , he is my favourite rapper and I hope he has more hits on the "the way I am" side and the comical "with out me" side that’s Ems at his best, when is Encore out in the UK?

Yeah maduricks I wish the 90's rappers were still aorund with 2 pac, biggie, easy E, and the ones who you dont hear much of mobb deep, nas, ice cube etc.

R.I.P. ODB, too bad I was looking forward to his album for the roc, allthough I heard he kinda had trouble doing his insane style when not high on drugs...
For the 90's those were the best for hip hop, the time when the Wu actually released some good shit and not a trillion side artists that suck and sound the same. For the list of good 90's rap I'd like to add KRS-One, Das EFX, Onyx, Geto Boys etc.
