Looks like one of those Egyptian cats sculptures. There's something "solemn" about it.
You should draw felines more often |

It looks fab as ever ! I get the same "Egyptian" idea as Fortune... Our Feline here looks very Regal (Egyptian cats were highly respected, right?). The colours are a wonderful choice... that beautiful blue colour complements the darkness of the fur so wonderfully
you've also captured the face of a Cat excellently... though I'm unsure whether it is a face that was ever really designed for a neck exactly... Great nontheless ^-^

I really should draw felines more often...
She's actually based off of the 'Oriental' cat... I think that's their proper breed name; not sure though! They are pretty neat looking cats! She is really snobbish; and a know-it-all to boot! ^^ I don't think it's a face designed for a human-type neck/body; BUT I like to stretch reality and get the imagination going. :> Thank you so much for your comments everyone!!! I appreciate them to no end! |

Looks awesome! I like the fact you used the same color for both necklace and eyes! It's a stylish choice!

Wow its very well done and I like the colours you've used as well.
I agree with everyone else that you should try and draw some more felines. Keep up the good work

I don't know if I mentioned the series to you before or not but go to www.neilgaiman.com and check out his Sandman comic series. There's a character in it that shows up every now and then...she's some kind of ancient egyptian cat goddess if I remember correctly. Your picture reminded me very much of her.
It is incredible, by the way. You have coloring and shading techniques that simply amaze me. _RED_ stuff
