Street fighter 2.
Has anybody ever seen street fighter 2 the animated movie? Its the manga version. It came out in 1994 but is a brilliant movie! if you have not i recomend you download it and watch it or even go to shops like HMV to buy it if you love street fighter storylines.

I saw this um... animated movie.
I saw this a very, very long time ago. So long, I don't remember it clearly. I do remember I didn't like it, though. The animation was okay, but the story wasn't really that great. But then again, I've never really liked the game stories for Street Fighter much. And this comes from me; a SF fan >.> The movie was too short, imo. Too short to let a good story unfold, but still, the way that thing was headed, it coulda been 4hrs. long and still had a sucky story I still think people who like SF should watch it, though. Just for the sake of curiousity. |

Yeh, I've watched it, I owned it on tape, and it is AWSOME. A billion times better than that gay street fighter alpha movie which sucks really bad.
The street fighter II V series is pretty cool as well, I'm trying to buy all the volumes on DVD.

Ive seen both of the animations and although the animaton is of reasonable quality there is no story or plot. Therefore I could not really see a point to them by the end because they are jyst plain bad.

I downloaded the movie when i became a recent sf fan, and quickly i lost interest in streeet fighter but liked fighting games anyway.
Thing is, when i watched the movie, i loved it because of the music in it...that was about the award winnerin the movie. The fighting was smooth too and the art was cool...thoguh chun-li looked a bit...different. Good movie nonetheless, i dont know, the sotry was perfect fit of what the games would give you. Bison trying to take some data or whatever from ryu. Not a bad movie, i just dont really recommend it. |

Well yes... I can sympathize with you there Blindman about the music as it was quite good for an animation but I stick by what I said before. I just didnt think that they had any sort of good quality plot/storyline even though it did sort of match up to the games.
