All the things you can't leave behind
This is another of my silly threads! The title came to my mind after Blindman U2 thread
Imagine a catastrophe, with Earth about to be destroyed and you leaving the planet on a spaceship. What are the things you'd want to bring with you, possibly things that are important to remember humankind, on a general or on a personal level? They can be objects (like an album, a videogame, a book, a famous person's distinctive object etc...), or memories (like memories of some important event of history or a personal memory) or persons (famous or not, but just think that you cannot bring the whole world's population with you!). Of course, animals can be picked too Choose carefully |

My ass. I'd grab it and run.
Oh, and I guess my family, friends, cat, dream girl, video games and video game accessories.

David Bowie!!!
hehe, if I could find him! HHmmm... this is a toughie... it's making me think... oooowwww! I'd like to bring my family and friends (animals included), but that's about 10 people right there... I don't think I'd take any material possessions... if I brought a game or CD, when would I play it, would I even feel like playing it?! Erk... I'd bring Marcus and my big bag of batteries! He's small and brings music, therefore joy, which I'm assuming I'd need at such a time. I'll add to this as I think of things I guess. So far it's David Bowie, family, friends, and Marcus. |

I would def have to bring some friends and yes *sigh* the family. I would also bring my ferret cuz I couldn't leave that little scamp behind. I urge all of us with an X-box to bring that along. Who wouldn't want to play some system link Halo while evacuating earth?

Hmm . . .
Some friends for some solid conversation on the way out, a notebook and a pencil, my violin and bass and most definently my CDs and books, stereo and maybe a few drinks to take the edge off the trip (it works for a plane, why not a spaceship?). Maybe a laser gun too. If popular entertainment has taught me anything, it's that aliens aren't friendly. |

Well, it depends on where im moving to. If its a planet full of aliens...i'll bring the hottest set of girls and show the aliens what we got here in earth. Game systems, computer, dvd collection, family, clothes...i dont know, its a hard one...i wouldnt bring the whole worlds population since i dont like everyone in the world |

That is the hardest question a human mind could ever think on. If going by what you originally said of 'one' object/person or pet, I would choose none.
I could never choose which of my loved ones lives or dies. I suspose if I really had to make a decision it would be to stay on the dying planet with the people closet to me. But thats all to serious for a gaming forum

I would also choose none even though Hylas said "things you'd want to bring with you". Instead of bringing such objects or people along with me, I much rather just die with my loved ones and get it over with.

I would definately get Jennifer even if I die trying. I'd bring a PS2 with all my RPGs for the PS and PS2 along with my memory cards. I would also bring my GBA SP and GBA video games(I don't have any yet but I will soon)

C'mon guys! This ain't a "survivor" thread! It's not about choosing to remain and die or going away! You're supposed to leave anyway!
