Can anyone tell me what the hell is the meaning of the ending in Hellsing.I mean theres some details they left out and i'm stumped on what to think.I need to know!

Yeah, me too. I just bought the ending of the series, and my friends and i are confused with what actually happens at the end. Mainly with Integra hellsing, and her relationship with arucard at the end. With the question he asks her, when she is sitting on the chair with her hands tied together with that white restraint. And what was up with that, was she the one who betrade the hellsing orginization at the end? And who was the human master of Incognito? And what happens to Seres. Any of these questions being answerewd would be nice.

The reason why the ending ended the way it did is because the mangaka (Kouta Hirano) wasn't finished with the manga. There's only 4 volumes of Hellsing out and there's supposed to be more. So, that's why the ending was arupt and confusing.
I'm no expert on this series but this is what I think: (I've been trying to figure it all out ever since I saw the end in May )

Integral didn't betray the Hellsing organization. What happened is Incognito started to send out his vampire troops (SAS) to go and destroy the Royal family. Those two men dressed in black (short and tall guys) went to Integral to tell her that this ritual (I have no idea what it does) is supposed to be held. The news said the ritual is being held at the Tower of London and the Queen is going to be there. So, Incognito sends his SAS vampires there to wait for the Queen. Instead, the Tower of London was just a bait and the ritual is really held at the Hellsing mansion. In order to get rid of these SAS vampires, Integral sends out the Hellsing unit to go to the Tower of London. But, the Tower of London really was a trap for the Hellsing unit. I think that's when Seras was at Helena's and she found out. At the Tower, the Hellsing unit are getting killed by the SAS vampires and then, the British army arrives with an order to kill the Hellsing unit (I don't know why...I think there was a traitor in the Round Table group. The Round Table is that group of snooty men during the Valentine Brothers episodes). The British troops are also invading Hellsing's mansion and that's when Integral and Walter escape in the helicopter.
And the rest follows. I think the reason why Integral was jailed is because they thought she was a traitor who wanted to kill the Queen or something like that. Either that or that Round Table group wanted to get rid of her. Either way, the Queen didn't show up at the Hellsing mansion like the plan said, so someone's a traitor, but I don't know who.

Well.....um.....uhhh.....thank i guess. So i suppose the answers are a bit clearer, but perhaps one of these days, i really will find out the other technicalities of it all.

The answers might be more clear if a second season was coming....but I don't know if there is one now or not.

the very , very end..was pretty clear. Integra looked like she was going to finally drink alucards blood.

Also, it doesn't actually show it, but the traitor is "silenced"..the only things left unknown are, who exactly was Incognito working for and who is responsible for the artifical freaks. Most likely they are the same person.

Here's how I see it.


Hellsing was betrayed and mauled big time. Incognito was snuffed out by Alucard and th traitor in the Round Table Conference was killed as well. The traitor in the Round Table Conference was the master of Incognito and was also perpetuating the "chipped" vampires.

The traitor forces were destroyed eventually, but since not everything had been sorted out and there had already been a big show on the news about Hellsing being the traitors Integra was "jailed", despite the queen's "hopes and prayers" having been with her during the ordeal.

I'm a little confused about integra actually being inside a cell though. The white buttoned fabric restraint is confusing, as is the extravagant looking meal prepared for her in her cell. So either she's really in more protective custody until everything can be ironed out or she's been completely abandoned by queen and country and has been slated for execution for treason. Which might account for the meal, but not the fruityhandcuffs. However, being executed (or in line to be) might account for that smile after Alucard asks her if she wants a little taste this time around.

Hmm. A little more confusing than I was hoping for. Oh well, let's just hope there's some more Hellsing on the way.

i loved that series, and the ending was good, it left it open, damn it though i want more
