What values/qualities are most important ?

What quality/value do you think Is MOST important in a relationship?

I meant for thier to be a poll. Sence it got screwed up somehow Ill just list the options...and people can make thier own if need be

a) Integrity
b) Honesty
c) Ambition
d) Compasion
e) Sensitivity
f) Respect

For me its honesty..a relationship simply CANNOT work if your not honest and forthright with someone.

What do you guys and gals think ? Feel free to add any that are missing..those were the onyl ones that came ot mind for me.

Well right now I don't know what I want, I'm really enjoying being single. Anyways heres my answer to the question if I were to have a relationship

Be Honest and kind
Make Me Laugh
Easy to talk to
Must share something in common with me
Is Forgiving
And doesn't get on my case for every little thing.

Yeah and to answer your real questions, overall I would go with Honesty.

Well i'm single by choice and i'm very happy with myself for now...
But obviously there are things that i like and dislike in the opposite sex so normally someone who has intention to date me has to be : honest , kind ,make me laugh,not lie and can NOT EVEN THINK OF CHEATING ON ME...

Anyway i think that for a relationship to really work there's got to be a lot of honesty and understanding ....

Well, everyone seems to be agreeing with the idea that honestly is a biggie in a steady relationship, and i agree totally.

With honesty, i also find that having a sence of humor a must. Not necessarily able to make me laugh, which isn't hard, but to be able to laugh and never blow anything out of proportion if it's just as easy to laugh something off.

The other must is a level of morality, and the ability to be a good person, someone who has a respect for things, and, like it started with, has morals.

That's all i really need in a girl in order for a relationship to work with me. There are many other smaller things that help, but those three things are the major priorities for me.

Honesty is number one, ofcourse. If a relationship is based on mistrust, it will crumble pretty quickly.

Secondly, I have to be with someone who is at the same level of intelligence as me. If I'm talking about a physics problem in class, and my partner becomes nostalgic about cookies... I'm gone so fast....

Ambition is very important. If your partner doesn't want to make something of themselves, you're going to be carrying that person on your back for a LONG time.

...That's about it for me.

I can assure you that there are plenty of guys out there who are perfect for you then. Desperate is a common trait among the better share of us.
