War of the Monsters

This game just seemed to appear. It got positive reviews, but there was no hyp and it only cost $39.99.... What's the deal? Big monsters... good. Destroying cities... good. Stomping on insignificant humans... good. Bashing your monster buddy as mayhem insues.... good. Go play this game. Its a hoot. A monster sized hoot.

I've only played a demo of it so far, and enjoyed it very much. Me and my brother spent a few good hours on it just beating the crap out of each other with only Congar and the Cyclops-looking thing.

I'd get the game, but my wallet is already held back by DMC 2 and a few others.

Its basically like Twisted Metal, just that you dont control Cars with bullets but Monsters with super powers. All the monster you have ever seen, are in this game. Althought they may not be named after "Godzilla" and "KingKong" but, they are there and plays really well.

You can destroy anything you want in the city or any envoirnment play at. Climb any building and take the attena's and throw it to the opponent, or pick any car/truck/bus going by and throw it on. It has extremely beautiful gameplay. To be honest, its a Mechassault for the PS2!.!

Almost all video game stores would have it, but Best Buy would have it for sure. We have it.... ... .. I dont like the cover of the game that much, but hey that doesn't really matter, as I didn't really love Metal Gear Solid 2's cover either.

This game looks to me as one of those games you get just for fun. So, I don't know if I'll check it out because I am WAY behind on my list of games I'd like to get.

I have to say I am a sucker for some Good Reviews (bad ones dont bother me, but if a games gets some seriously sweet ones I buy the game).

And I bought this game yesterday and have been enjoying it since. Each and every monster have its own special move, other then that punch and high attacks are all the same. You may think that its a repetitive game, but thats what you'll get from a Twisted Metal type of game. I REALLY have to say destroying everything and I mean ANYTHING/EVERYTHING in the stage is really fun!!!

Throw just any moving things on the ground (except people) at your opponent. Helicopters, Tanks, Buses, CARS! ....... I love it!!!

The Music is the most important thing here, as well as sound. Its just too good....... I couldn't just stop listening to the background music, and people screaming at the back and the police siren going at the background.

Each monster is totally unique!!! Thats what I really like about this game. My fav Togera......(Godzilla ripoff though) But hey .... this really shows that a game doesn't need a GODZILLA or KING KONG copy writes to make a great playable game!!

I remember I was running away from all the other monster, as my arse was getting kicked pretty badly, So I went on top of the tallest building to just chill for awhile but after few seconds, one of the monster took down the whole freaking building, and DOWN I WENT!!!........ Oh by the way you can even crush other monster by collapsing building on them!!!!

This game is simply awesome!!!!!! For pure out and out ACTION. Buy this game......... and 2 Player mode is superb too. The only down part, it doesn't have 4 players............ I hope they bring that in the next sequal (if there would be any) and PLEASE make it ONLINE.

I love this game!
