This new system remind me of splinter cell.
Those who havent played it you have a little gauge in the corner displaying the light in the area.
Not thats theres anything wrong with that but it doesnt sound too original.

Yeah you make a point Nanjij. It seems that the new MGS will implement a Splinter Cell type style in the new game. But its not a bad thing

Wow, I haven't seen nothing of MGS3 from last year, the stuff I've scanned through on snake eater is this forum is amazing, im going to get blown away when I play it. Also the graphics are best I've seen man, whoa.

Think about it though, what is the point in the camo if it doesnt protect you from close up guards. can you honestly say you have ever seen better AI or that there would be any point in the whole thing if people saw you even with 100% camoflage. No !! Although on the other hand, Maybe they could make it more realistic if some guards did see you but you had an effective way of doing something about it like if you are next to a wall and a guard sees you you could wait for him to approach and then smash his head against the wall like you had planned the whole thing as a trap but then what is the point in useing camo if you could just bat someone in the face on their approach. You gotta get a balance and that is exactly what kojima has done

They're called "Cobra".

"The End" is an old man with a shaved head, a white beard, and a parrot on his shoulder.

"The Pain" wears a yellow and black striped uniform and has a backpack of the same colors.

"The Fury" wears a dark space suit. You can't see his face.

"The Fear" kinda looks like Spider-Man, and apparently uses a bowgun.

"The Sorrow" has glasses. Some blood is flowing from one of his eyes.

I couldn't see "The End" but I saw the others. "The Pain" doesn't look very interesting...the rest are okay but I think the best one is "The Sorrow". He looks badass.

Hehe, never underestimate the old ones. This "old fart" may actually be the most skilled of the bunch.

I'm quite intrigued by his parrot...he looks blind, so he may use the parrot as his "eyes" in order for him to shoot the sniper rifle he's holding. Or the parrot may actually say where the targets are. Like, "SQUAWK! One o' clock! SQUAWK!"

The Ape Escape mini-game...hilarious!! Omg, that is so excellent...I can't wait, Ape Escape is a favorite game of mine...now, it's like the best of both worlds in one.
