People like you are only able to complain, but a community is made of people coming to talk and offering contribution, not of people being away for a thousand years and then coming back to complain!

GH, people come and go in forums. Some leave formally by telling you (Like Sword 4 Hire) and others just seem to fall off the face of the planet. People get busy with life, something unexpected pops up in their lives and they can't spend time on the forum, just how it is. Plus PS2fantasy has been more tight knit then others, it's one of the few forums I've seen where a good percentage of the members you see as the years go by, are the same people you've seen since day one or the early days of the forum. It's always been a tight and close forum; a lot of us here in PS2fantasy know each other really well. We just don't have a ton of new members joining and posting, the forum has always been a bit slow moving. It was even that way a little bit back when I first joined back in 02' the forum has always been this way. Plus this kind of question isn't always appreciated; yeah there aren't tons of new topics to see every day. I personally have grown to know the members of PS2fantasy very well, I appreciate that more then a fast-moving forum where people barely know each other and just make a bunch of random posts like most forum communities these days.

I think a lot of people who became friends through this site started to have a more direct way of contacting each other and didn't used the forums for that, so that made the forums slow down a fair bit.

The main thing is the forums and this site arent dead, and people keeping in touch is great. Its 2008 and i know that this site was here in 2001 at least. Many other sites have long disappeared not to mention the same people sticking around. There are varying reasons for people leaving, life changes, conflicts, what have you. The best thing is making the most with what we have so lets do it in 2008!
