Staff appreciation month (?)

This might sound like sucking up to some. And if it does, do me a favor and slap yourself cuz this is a sincere post damnit !

Ahem...I just wondered if there was ever in the past or could every be a staff appreciation month. I suppose there wouldnt be alot we could do but I think it would be nice just to maybe pin a post up labeled Staff Appreciation in which we all post our favorite things about the moderators etc, and maybe the site in general as well and leave it up for the month.

I think this site has superb, very involved moderators etc and they deserve more appreciation than what they get for the work that they do maintaining the site and putting up with jerks like myself . I know we all do appreciate them, I just think it would be nice to plan it out and really put some effort into making the hard working staff of PS2 fantasy feel that we do appreciate what they do.

I know jobs like this can seem thankless sometimes and back when I was on the staff of a website (Dont ask) it made me feel good when I got compliments and what not. Im not going to start the thread because it would be better if it were more official and had the admitted support of other, more prominant members.

Well..it was just a thought. Let me know what you guys think

P.S BTW Harry can I borrow a ten spot..ill pay ya back man I swear

I think this is a super idea, Vicious, and its very thoughtful and kind of you to mention it. I highly promote this idea and suggest we all think of reasons why this site is one we come to daily and appreciate the things that the staff and involved individuals do to make it such a good site! I for one want to thank all the staff here for the great work and attitude they have shown over the two years that ive gotten to know them. This is much more than a gaming site, its a person site, where you can be yourself and be accepted for that! I gladly and thankfully support this site and the individuals responsible for its creation and fruition the past 2+ years!!

I'm fairly new to this site and haven't had any direct contact with any of the mods, but I agree that they all do a good job. From what I can see, all of the mods are excellent at helping with any questions that members might have or getting rid of unwanted annoyances. The time put in by the mods makes this a site worth coming to everyday.

Oh yeah, I have to agree with all of you. You people have no idea how amazing the admins and the other mods are.

I remember when I was new, in December of 2001, I had no clue, and everytime any problem accured, I was helped in NO TIME by the mods and admins.

And just as many members would say over here......... this site is because of its people. Admins like Harry, Fortune, Rei, Carlito (I see him rarely though), really shine this place. And not only admins..... ever since I came in....the mods have been always helpfull to the max.

I have been to other forums/sites and trust me its nothing when compared this Ps2Fantasy forums/site.

The people over here are nice and kind and so sweet to each other, and most of the credit goes to the Admins and mods (I am not totally included

) ... because its because of these admins and mods, members behave and stay in normal behaviour. Otherwise, things would go crazy and wouldn't stop increasing till everything explodes.

Such an amazing place to be at.......... such a wonderful place to post, and excellence shines right through it, and we all are thankful to the host.

Maybe we can just use this post to show our appreciation now and maybe set it up more officially for a later date.

I for one would like to thank all the mods for putting up with me all this time. Ive been on boards before where the mods were to lazy and uncairing to deal with someone who was involved in a conflict. They were quick to simply ban everyone who was labeled a trouble maker. Clearly the mods here are much more considerate and involved. And thats a big reason whey these forums are still going strong after so much time. This site is an amazing site full of amazing people and I certainly hope it lasts as long as humanly possible because it is a great place to visit.

Hi there. I think this is a brilliant idea vicious and also feel that the mods slave away to help us and give their best effort into this site and I for one appreciate that very much so.

Yes I have been on other forums where the mods never even bothered to come onlline and talk problems through and since finding this wonderful site I know there are some website moderators who are there to help at any costs and I think thats is brilliant of them. So I just wanted to say Fortune, Harry, Rei, Carlito and the others - thank you...

Well. It didnt quite go over like I had thought. this post has had over 80 views yet only a handfull of people replied. But either way, I think its good that some of us have shown our appreciation. Even if it isnt made into a regular thing

I think it's a pretty good idea, cuz those guys are awsome, not only they do a great job on keeping the site and the forums running, also they're the most kind, informative, and helpful people one can find. But then again, it's like, one of those "automated" threads... probably the mods and admins enjoy much more a certain thread exactly like this one, than waht they would enjoy one of those. Maybe that's just me.
